We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Mikhail and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christine, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Navigating change is something I’ve spent years helping people master. One thing that’s become clear is this: no matter the type of change, there’s an instinct to resist it. That’s why I launched my firm in 2020 with a mission: “Embracing Change One Person at a Time.” In the first year alone, I doubled my corporate salary. Why? Because the world around us was shifting constantly, and while we couldn’t control the change, we could learn how to handle it.
That’s why I created my 6-week course, “Navigating Continuous Change.” Each week, we tackle real-world strategies in a 1-hour group coaching session. My goal is simple—equip you with the tools you need to embrace change with less resistance. Change is inevitable, but with the right approach, you can face it with confidence. If you’re ready, let’s get started.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’re an Industrial-Organizational Psychology firm focused on driving measurable gains in market share, profit margins, and customer loyalty—just like other consultancies. But what sets us apart is how we approach data collection and analysis. While many firms rely solely on financial data, sales figures, and operational metrics, we believe that only tells part of the story.

Our approach goes deeper. We gather essential data that’s often overlooked, including:

Employee engagement levels
Organizational culture insights
Leadership effectiveness
Retention rates
Performance management metrics
By blending these human-centered insights with traditional business data, we give our clients a complete, 360-degree view of their organization. This holistic approach equips them to make smarter, more confident decisions that drive long-term success.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Newport Beach, so my favorite sushi spot is on the Peninsula; it’s a small unassuming restaurant called Ohana Sushi and they are the absolute best sushi you’ll eat in Newport.
My favorite place to get a drink is Topside Roof Deck, the rooftop bar at the Lido House. Here you can sip your cocktail while you watch the sunset over the ocean from a rooftop view! It’s incredible.
Because I’m also a musician (play the flute in several local bands & orchestras), I love to visit the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. This year’s line up is especially great for those who love Marvel’s Spiderman, they’re putting on Spider-man Across the Spider-verse in Concert this October.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I’m deeply grateful for the leap of faith that has brought me to where I am today. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without guidance from God. I also owe a special thanks to my mom, who has been the most inspiring example of entrepreneurship in my life. I watched her build Houston’s first 24-hour daycare from the ground up, overcoming countless challenges, and eventually selling it for over $1 million. Her resilience and commitment showed me what’s possible when you stay the course and work hard.
Another principle I live by in my business comes from Richard Branson: “Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to.” It’s a core value in my organization and a key approach I bring to coaching my clients. This balance between empowerment and care is essential to fostering success—both in leadership and in life.
