Meet Christopher Moore | Golfer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christopher, how do you think about risk?
One of my favorite quotes is “you never know how far you’ve gone, until you go too far”. This has been the mantra I’ve lived by over the past few years. Taking risks is the only way you can evaluate anything in your life. I did not love golf until I bought some clubs and just went to a driving range. While taking a risk can end up being a failure, that failure can be used a learning opportunity to better yourself or the situation you are in.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Golf is a sport built on tradition, and etiquette. Fashion and style have always played a key role in the game of golf and never has this been truer than today . Up To Par is a lifestyle brand for the golfer and the non golfer. When you wear Up To Par, you are shifting the culture, embracing your authenticity, and bridging the gap between race and age. The next generation is here!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Civil Rights museum where Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated is must! During the NBA season, the Grizzlies are always an attraction. The Memphis Tigers football team has been pretty exciting the last few years. A few restaurants would be Maria for the spicy jalapeño burger, tacos at Maciel’s, and of course Bar-B-Que which you can find anywhere in the city!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a few people who deserve a some credit in this story. First and foremost my wife, Kianah Moore who has been my advisor, consultant, financial advisor, and anything she can help me out with. Chantrice Copeland for pushing me to find a passion that I can be proud of and also lead me to this incredible opportunity. Also my guys, Bryan Haire, Josh Rodgers, and Marcus Thomas. These gentlemen each launched something in 2020 and I had nothing going but working and living day by day. With them releasing news about their businesses and new ventures, it pushed me to want to something. I am forever grateful for my village!
