We had the good fortune of connecting with Chyrah Brooks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chyrah, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Mark Zuckerberg once said “the biggest risk is not taking one” ; and that’s how I view risk now. I used to procrastinate so much that I would never elevate mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, physically, or academically. Risk taking is playing a significant role in my life right now, becuse I just recently moved to California from Nebraska : and working towards my dreams at a rapid pace.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from other is that I would do whatever it takes to achieve greatness; even if that means moving 1092 miles away from home and being homeless sleeping out my car for a short period of time. I am most excited about walking with God on a deeper level than I ever have before. I am where I am today professionally because I’ve tried many things like poetry, public speaking, rapping, dancing, modeling, & ect and ive found a way to incorporate all my interest into my content creating. Seeing that Nothing in life comes easy; and I am still working hard everyday to get to where I truly desire to be challenges occurs. The way I preserve through obstacles is by praying, being selective, who i share my business with, and never comparing myself to anyone else, but simply enjoying my journey and executing my talents. Three lessons I learned on my journey is everyone is not going to like me; so I had to make sure I LOVED me. 2. Fall in love with discipline because discipline separates great from best. 3. Abstain from sexual pleasures: sexual immorality would drain my energy and disrespect my concentration. I want the world to know I love God, so I am willing to sacrifice what is popular so I can live a life pleasing the Lord.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
