We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Le and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cindy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Some days, you’ll win. Other days, you’re gonna lose. There’s no easy way around it. I just wake up grateful for another day, ready to conquer it all. Acting isn’t easy. Getting rejected is even harder. That’s my biggest risk right now, having the confidence to stay on this path – even with a thousand rejections coming my way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am exciting for what this year has in store for me and other artists. With everything reopening since lockdown, there’s so much creativity being shoved out the closet. I’m extremely excited! It’s inspired me beyond my wildest dreams. I’m able to take those images and colors onto the runway, in front of the camera, etc. it’s truly magical this year, I can’t explain it. It’s pretty for sure!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Echo park is right down the street from me and it is beautiful! The geese are funny too! Don’t mess with them, they are vicious. My dog isn’t even safe. Besides the protective animals, it’s a majestic site.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I know my biggest cheerleader is my husband. He’s seen me cry the most. He knows how hard it is to be a freelancing artist. He hears about all the “no’s” from auditions and mishaps on set. He’s kinda been through it all with me; if anything, jump-started my career. And if I give up, I let him down. I could never…
