We had the good fortune of connecting with Claudia Evette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Claudia, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is being a simple human who is always willing to learn but most importantly always ensuring that the people I photograph feel like the most important human in the world while they’re with me. I always want my clients to feel comfortable and important. I never ever want to make anyone feel small around me.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
First things first, it is NOT easy to grow a successful photography business. It takes a lot of hours of work and dedication but also a lot of money to invest.

It is the most rewarding thing when a client is in love with their photos because I truly see the beauty in every person I photograph.

What sets me apart is the way my clients feel, the number one feedback I get is that they feel comfortable when they’re with me. Aside from that, my editing is very clean and true to color and I think people really appreciate that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to the beach at sunrise, that’s kinda my thing! Aside from that, we are definitely going to the gym lol. As for food, we are most definitely grabbing in n out. We would honestly focus on beautiful scenes so definitely palos verdes bluffs for a nice sunset too!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to recognize my friends Janice & Adilene. They’ve both been a HUGE part of my success. From listening to me, teaching me things and encouraging me all the way.
