Meet Croyce Allen | Youth Leader, Entrepreneur, Videographer & Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Croyce Allen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Croyce, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
How I came up with the idea for my Busineess Ambassador Children Of Absolutes is because I felt the need to help and empower the youth and the children of our future. I faced, in my years of elementary and junior high bullying, -I had challenges in my education and I had a social disorder. I chose early on in my life, with the help of my family to do better by myself, I worked hard and made the changes in my life to rise above all of this.
When I was 12 years old I started my organization and it was focused on giving back to the community, celebrating them, teaching them, educating them because it takes a village and I made myself apart of that village to uplift, to support and to tell my story so I can help someone else that is experiencing the same type of situation I was in. My organization is all that and more, because I am speaking from experience.I want the youth/children of our future to be absolutely sure of who they are, where they want to go, and to fight strong and hard for their goals their education and their mental stability, it’s so important.
My organization is 10 years growing strong and I THANK GOD for allowing me to pour into the community through this event call “Summers End back to school Bash, where we celebrate the children/youth.ACA created this special day to giveback and celebrate the youth/children before they go back to school. It’s a day that involves their family members, their peers and friends.
It’s a full day of fun and the main event is giving free backpacks and school supplies to go back to school.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Not only am I youth leader but I am also a Videographer, Content Creator and also work in the Media, Television & Film Production industry. What sets me apart from the others is that I’m very passionate, hard-working and focused on the things I want to do. Being in the entertainment industry is not that easy because it’s a competitive field, what I learned about being in this industry is to make good connections and networking with a lot of people. Many people tell me my work is incredible and amazing, however I have a lot more things to learn. I’m happy at where I’m at today but I know if I stay focused and keep on going, I can be better and perfect my craft.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area and I wanted to show them the best time ever, I would take them to a bunch of places. One place I would take them is the Crenshaw/Leimert Park Area. There are a lot of Black-Owned Business and Black Owned restaurants like Earle’s On Crenshaw, The District by GS, Hot & Cool Cafe and South LA Cafe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a lot of people that support me, A couple people I would like to mention would be My Mother Pele Keith, My grandmother Cynthia Keith, My Auntie Barbara Keith and my entire my family because they are my biggest support system. I would also like to shout Bishop Charles E. Blake, Lady Mae L. Blake at West Angeles Church along with the Youth, Children & Digital Innovations Department for supporting and allowing to partner with them. I would also like to shoutout my PR Team Shanta Body at AlexanderRosePr, and last but not least I would like to thank Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson and the Amazing Grace Conservatory for all the love and support they have given me throughout the years.
