We had the good fortune of connecting with Dallas Anselmo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dallas, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking is HUGE to me! Ultimately in life, no risk = no reward and no risk = no story. I never want to go through life playing it safe because in the end, that gets you nowhere. Taking risks has played such a crucial part in my life and career and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Growing up, I always had big dreams. I’ve always had passions for modeling, acting and singing, but until last year I never truly believed that I could make those dreams a reality. In July of 2023, I attended my first ever event in LA. The event was for Babes in Toyland and I didn’t know it at the time, but attending that event created a huge snowball effect that helped my career immensely. I met so many incredible people and had my first taste of what networking in the industry was like.. And I LOVED it!! After that, I began using social media as a major networking tool and started doing photoshoots and fashion shows to build my portfolio. I also had the amazing opportunity to record and release my first single and that only added to the hunger for success that I have. I have had so many amazing opportunities in the past couple of months that have absolutely changed my life and the directory or my career. Honestly, it hasn’t been easy. It’s been a lot of long, stressful days, uncertainty and manifestation, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve grown so much as a person and have learned more about myself in the past months than I could’ve ever expected. I’ve pushed past every limit that I once couldn’t have even imagined reaching. I would say the biggest lesson I’ve learned is to stay true to who I am. I’ve learned that you can never please everyone and there will always be critics, but you should never change who you are for others. I want the world to know that ANYTHING is possible. Take risks!! Trust yourself and know that you can do anything you set your mind to; but also remember that if you are going to make changes about yourself, make them for you and no one else!!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m not currently an LA local, but travel to LA frequently so I am still fairly new to the area. I’d be sure to head to Sunset Marquee to show off the beautiful scenery and grab a bite! We’d workout at FullHaus Club because no trip is complete without a bomb workout sesh and we’d get smoothies from Earthbar after! At night, we’d meet up with my LA bestie miss Michelle Carney because I always have the best night out with her!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To say that I’ve been blessed with the most incredible support system would be such an understatement. When I decided that I wanted to take my career to the next level and really pursue my dreams, my boyfriend and my best friend were my #1 supporters and still are to this day! From every shoot to every show that I’ve done, they’ve been right by my side cheering me on every step of the way. Since taking my career more seriously, I have also had the pleasure of meeting so many beautiful people that have helped push me past limits that I never thought I could reach. I simply would not be where I am today without the amazing people that I have in my corner, and I am eternally grateful that I have them.
