We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, what do you attribute your success to?
Being authentic. No matter what type of content I’m making, I make sure that it’s true to what I believe in and something that I can stand behind. A big part of the SuperDuperDani brand is built upon positivity and creating a welcoming community for anyone who enjoys geeking out and playing games, which is something I’ve always been passionate about creating and maintaining.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I work full time creating social media content for my brand SuperDuperDani, which I have grown over the past 10 years from a hobby into a professional business. I make Pokémon videos for YouTube and Facebook, live stream video games several times a week on Twitch, and co-host two different podcasts: the Shadowless Podcast and the Disastrous Podcast. I also run and manage an ecommerce website called SuperDuperTCG where I sell trading cards. From a young age I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, and I am so happy that I have been able to find a way to combine my love for making videos and my interest in being a business owner. Above anything else, what brings me the most joy is getting to interact with the people in my community every day and bring smiles to peoples’ faces.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would for sure need to walk around the Venice Canals, get some KBBQ in Koreatown, visit the Original Farmer’s Market, and shop around the adorable Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to my lovely parents for teaching me the importance of hard work and the value in pursuing the things I am passionate about!
