We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Chavez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from the San Fernando Valley, wear the tears dry fast before someone sees it as a sign of weakness. Growing up in the middle class watching my family break their backs to make a living. Raised by a hard working single father and grandmother. Mother wasn’t in the picture, smart woman but decided to throw away her career for the gang life. The list goes on. .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a musician, baseball Coach, script writer, cannabis grower, deejay , mentor, and entrepreneur.

The Sfvs (my band) Is another story that sends us back 15 years. Performing on sunset strip to backyard shows. We still are making music and releasing to the world.

Gvsm clothing brand that represents our lives and what we have accomplished and continue to support in our daily lives.

Baseball coaching the youth and teaching them the physics and accomplishments of the sport and how they can carry on those traits in life.

Script writing is my way of helping myself release my visions I see and put into a story or book form.

Mentor in supporting kids or adults going through the hard times of many and guiding them through the darks times or mental abuse / drug abuse / depression or more.

Cannabis growing has been part of my life of understanding the steps of taking care of living organisms and producing the best OG in the country.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Taking my friends to a view that overlooks the valley and speak about life and catch up.
Places to eat would be family own local places such as pizza cookery.
Also all my friends are creative individuals so it would depends on who’s visiting.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My father and Grandmother and also my kids.
Never imagined making it this far in life .
The reason I have is because of them. The strict upbringing, I never used as a excuse for my failure but used them for my successes.
