We had the good fortune of connecting with DANIEL THOMAS and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DANIEL, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
As a baby I was dragged to every bar or venue my dads band would play. I remember how people would react when certain songs came on and I wanted to be able to do that for people. I started making music around 5th grade, I would make beats on this video game (mtv sound generator 2) and I had a little crappy band with my two best friends. I haven’t stopped since haha. I love it truly deeply love this music stuff with all my soul from playing bass, producing songs, writing, performing. It makes me connect with people on different levels and makes me dive deeper into knowing who I am and who I want to be. Basically its an addiction haha.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been doing this my whole life it has been a long journey and although it has the craziest ups and downs I am beyond grateful I’m on it. Nothing in life is ever easy if it’s that worth it. A good tip … HOLD ON at some of my lowest lows the biggest victories came so sometimes you just have to let the universe do its thing, it’ll always work out. One thing that sets me apart from most artists is my work ethic. I do everything on my own from production to recording/mixing to cover art. I LOVE it. Taking an idea in my head and making it reality is a high like no other, and then to have people listen to it and come watch you perform it ahhh! it’s an unbelievable feeling. My favorite part of being an artist is performing. The stage is home to me. There could be ten people, there could be ten thousand people I’m going crazy every time haha. The last two years have been pretty wild for me from opening for MGK in Europe to playing my own sold out shows in LA It’s been so much fun seeing all the hard work pay off. I never listened to what anyone said. I had countless people tell me It was impossible, not a single one of them were right. But then again I grew up in a small town in New Jersey not a lot of people like hearing “I’m going to make music and travel the world”. Shout out to anyone who supports me I love you all!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day time were hitting Malibu then were sliding down the pch to Venice to catch the sunset and one of those drum circles on the beach .. VIBES … Night time were hitting the good ole sunset strip to see my friends slay some rock shows

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This shoutout is to my friends and family. Without the endless support of everyone making sure I never quit all those times I would have never made it as far as I have. I LOVE YALL
