We had the good fortune of connecting with Danté Knows and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danté, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I Knew everything i needed and wanted & it couldn’t be achieved by working for someone else. My father taught me happiness is amongst passion so if what i was doing didn’t align with that value, I wouldn’t be capable of pursuing it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been addicted to pushing boundaries. If we start a song that aligns with another’s blueprint, we’ll forfeit the session and start from scratch. Opinionated as it is, I believe every artist should challenge themselves to try something that hasn’t been done before rather than emulate someone else’s creation, therefore travelling in their stardust.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m ashamed to admit that the only thing i feel would be a worthy show for all my friends and family travelling to Sydney would be the nature activities such as kayaking, nature walks, and anything that displays the beauty of this luscious land.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout Bianca Beers! She’s been my spine and support throughout all recent obstacles!
