Meet Daria and Maria Vasilieva | Fashion designers

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daria and Maria Vasilieva and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daria and Maria, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Definitely our habit to workaholism! Our love for hard work is what keeps us going in both life and business. We believe that putting in the hours and staying disciplined are key to our success. We don’t really take breaks because we’re passionate about what we do – our business.
We wake up early and work late because we think it makes us more productive. But we know it’s important to find a balance between work and personal life, so we try to make time for both.
Being workaholics can be tough sometimes, but it’s also what drives our brand forward. We’re dedicated to our work, and that’s how we keep growing and reaching new goals. So, even though it’s challenging, being workaholics is also a big part of our success story.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our distinctiveness lies in the fact that we built our brand entirely from scratch, without any significant financial investments. We worked hard to independently promote our product. Our design is always exceptionally creative, blending art and couture with a youthful and sporty aesthetic. Our advantage is that our brand did not rely on financial investments for promotion through popular PR agencies, and we did everything ourselves, from designing our products to marketing them. We take pride in the fact that we have gained recognition worldwide, with even Madonna and Jenna Ortega wearing our items.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We absolutely adore Los Angeles, and when our friends come here, we show them all the coolest and most interesting places in the city. 1. Hollywood Sign: The iconic Hollywood sign is a must-see landmark where you can capture iconic photos for your Instagram.2. Griffith Observatory: Offering breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the observatory.
3. Grab coffee at Courage Bagel: Be prepared to wait in line, but it’s worth it for their delicious bagels.4. Dont forget to do some grocery shopping at Erewhon.
5. Visit our favorite flea markets and vintage shops at Silverlake and Los Feliz. You can find so much interesting and unique clothing and enjoy the stylish atmosphere.6. Have coffee again at Melrose Place rooftop.
7. Have dinner at Drakes.
8. And end the night at Apt200 in West Hollywood.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Perhaps this will sound strange, but we would like to dedicate our shoutout to a writer who wrote a book, in which it is said that one can control reality and build one’s life the way they want. This book is called “Reality Transurfing,” and its author is Vadim Zeland. This book is the best we have ever read in our lives, a true revelation for us.
