We had the good fortune of connecting with David Saad and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi David, what is the most important factor behind your success
One of the biggest factors in our success has been recruiting an A+ team. You can have the best and most unique idea, but without the lift of a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy team, you won’t be able to see your vision come to fruition.
I’ve also found that having a fighting, resilient attitude—refusing to give up when obstacles arise—has helped us grow. I’ve learned that a good chunk of our competition called it quits during difficult times. Taking calculated risks, having a strong work ethic, and having the ability to make difficult decisions has opened many doors for SingleSprout.
Above all, believing in ourselves. Confidence in our skills, track record, and reputation has kept me motivated and driven, even in moments of doubt. I’ve learned that success is not just about learning from your mistakes—it’s about perseverance and the willingness to push forward no matter what.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
SingleSprout is an AI, Engineering, Product and Legal tech-enabled recruiting firm. We specialize in building the teams of high-growth tech companies and Law Firms. Unlike most traditional recruiting firms, we employ a full-time engineering team that builds custom sourcing, matching, and automation tools to help our recruiters fill roles faster. On average, our recruiters produce 1.5x more than your typical industry recruiter. In an industry with so much noise and competition, we’ve spent over a decade perfecting the recruiting process.
Was it easy? Not even close. From market downturns to Covid-19 to the Great Resignation, no problem we’ve faced is the same. Our ability to react thoughtfully and quickly has been critical. Adapting our services and technology to our customers’ needs is a constant. Creating a welcoming environment for our employees is also something that requires consistent care and attention. One of our biggest takeaways is that we have to be keenly aware of our strengths and swiftly remedy our weaknesses.
If there is one thing I want our partners, customers, and employees to know about our story, it is that we care and love what we do. We serve a niche community, and we know that every hire makes a tremendous difference.


The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, my wife. Co-founding and operating a business comes with significant sacrifice in your personal life. My wife is not only emotionally supportive (while raising 3 kids and having a career), but also someone I can lean on for sound business advice and problem-solving. Secondly, my business partner and team. They are amazing and simply the best I could wish for. Every day, I get to work with people that are so good at their jobs and fun to be around. Last but not least, my mom and dad. They gave me a lot of love as a kid and showed me the benefits of believing in myself.
