We had the good fortune of connecting with David Thete and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to be independent and being someone my community and country can look up too

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an artist i was born in Congo DRC , i make music beats , i also act and write movies . Being an artist has been a journey with a lot of hardships but many blessings too . It’s not easy moving to LA & chasing your dreams I came out here looking for a manager and blow up as an artist . I want the world to know my store and know that I care about changing the world

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like going to the studio cooking with my friends trying on clothes going to art galleries and watching documentaries

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout out to my mom for inspiring me the most , she risked her whole life for me and my sibling to be where we are at now .
