Meet Deepak Dugar | Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty Surgeon

We had the good fortune of connecting with Deepak Dugar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Deepak, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
For me it’s all about the patients. I wanted to create the best customer experience possible for Plastic Surgery with the best results possible. I wanted to do this by focusing singularly on one service so I created the Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty Center where we exclusively perform SCARLESS NOSE Closed rhinoplasty surgeries only. We have become the highest volume rhinoplasty center in the country because of our dedication to the craft of rhinoplasty and to the excellence of singular dedication for our patients.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I learned quickly as an honest plastic surgeon who turns down close to 30-40% of my consultations, that sometimes I have much more power with my words, than i do with my scalpel. It is with this knowledge, I have made it my life’s mission to touch as many lives as possible without a scalpel through smart and innovative content that makes us feel good. Tony Robbins, a close and personal mentor of mine, always says (and i’m paraphrasing here!) that we often wake up and feel bad for no reason, and then consume content all day that makes us feel bad for no reason. WHY not wake up and feel good for no reason and why not consume content that makes us feel good for no reason? That’s the entire philosophy for me behind the type of content, as a producer, I intend to bring to the world. As a plastic surgeon, my scalpel can only help so many limited people feel better about themselves. But with content, I can help millions more across the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m all about the ambiance. I take ambiance over everything else. For me a quick LA wknd would be a quiet dinner at Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Belair on Friday evening paired with amazing conversations over fantastic wines. Saturday we would head to Santa Barbara Rosewood Miramar and spend the day on the beach and having dinner at Caruso’s overlooking the ocean and on the way home stop at Ojai Valley Inn for drinks around the fire. Sunday we would wake up and hike Temescal Canyon and go the back way so you get the Ocean as a treat when you get to the top! Then Sunday brunch at Nobu Malibu overlooking the ocean and a post lunch stroll through Beverly Hills to of course show off my incredible office and do a little Rodeo Drive shopping. And end the evening with dinner at one of my favorite rooftop dinners at Catch LA!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
For me, it’s my mentor and partner Dr. Raj Kanodia who taught me endlessly and selflessly the craft and art of Rhinoplasty, patient care, discipline and lifestyle all in one. I modeled my entire practice after him and am quick to admit how lucky I am to have had the world’s greatest mentor as a Plastic Surgeon.
