We had the good fortune of connecting with Denise White and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Denise, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
If I can be honest, I didn’t want to start my own business. You can say I’ve always been a young entrepreneur going as far back to my teenage years braiding hair, not realizing that I was an entrepreneur at that age in those times. So, the thought of becoming a business owner wasn’t even a thought in my mind. As I grew into adulthood and started perfecting my craft in designing t-shirts, I still didn’t want to own my own business. I was just doing what I loved until 2 friends of mine kept telling me that I should start my own business. I truly didn’t have a thought process. I just dove in headfirst and took the risk and said I would worry about everything else later.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets Bonafide Kreationz apart is my focus on creating unique products from the heart, with each item being a story waiting to be told. I am proud of the journey and the relationships it has built along the way. As a brand. I welcome the opportunity to establish meaningful business relationships and am committed to providing excellent service. Getting to where I am today required dedication, hard work, and a passion for my craft. The path was not easy; however, my mission and my values guided its growth and success.
As for lessons learned, the importance of quality and uniqueness, building a strong online presence, and providing excellent customer service. Adapting to changes in the market and staying true to the brand’s mission and values
The world should know that Bonafide Kreationz is more than just a company – it’s a storyteller that creates unique, handcrafted treasures for every occasion. With a soul that strives for excellence and a commitment to embracing the beauty of the artisan’s touch.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the first thing would be for us to find a concert that we are going to attend. We love us a good concert. The first day is going to be chill. Grab some food from Alma’s Place in Compton and chill in the house drinking on some wine, listening to some good music and talking the night away. Day 2, we’ll take a drive to the LBC and do a little shopping at the Pike Outlets, have some lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimps after that head back to the house to chill and freshen up before we head to the the Wiltern Theatre to see Big Daddy Kane & Friends in concert. Day 3 is beach day in Santa Monica. Walk along the Strand. For lunch get some fish tacos @ The Albright, For the rest of the afternoon into the evening chilling at the beach and take on the view of the sunset. After that go to the Third Street Promenade to do some shopping. The rest of her time in the city we’ll try to fit in just about everything people do when visiting L.A. Roscoes Chicken and Waffles. Hollywood walk of fame. Wax Museum. etc.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
