We had the good fortune of connecting with Dyve and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dyve, why did you pursue a creative career?
I’ve tried working desk jobs, restaurants, retail, sales, etc. and have felt so out of place. Whenever I express myself creatively through music, writing, acting, content creation, etc. I feel completely energized and full of purpose. I want to say I pursued this path, but it honestly called out to me to the point where I couldn’t ignore it anymore.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I just released my first big Studio Album called, “Milestones”. I probably recorded over 150 songs before settling on the full storyline of the album and songs I chose to go along with it. I’ve always been a HUGE fan of stories. Books, Movies, TV Shows, Albums; good stories always get me excited and more engaged. When I was creating this album, that’s all I wanted to do; tell a great story and get people excited. So far the feedback has been awesome! This is a project I’m very proud of and I really hop the listeners can get something out of it.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d definitely be hanging out around the beach area, I’m a big fan of the west side. That being said, if I’m getting food I’m taking my friends to Casablanca in Venice! Best Mexican / South American food in LA
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
