We had the good fortune of connecting with Ectoh Lok and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ectoh, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Honestly I was inspired by the early 90s hip hop scene as a kid . I remember hearing Eminem’s ” My name is ” and was like whoa this flow right here is sick . Then also when I was in the streets with the dons the would blast “damn” by young bloodz and all type of g music that had me hooked. It wasn’t till senior year of high school is when I first recorded my 1st track called “40 & a Blunt” over a das Efx instrumental. Lol you can still find that joint on sound cloud ! And iv been on music ever since

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Dedication and the will to keep going even though everyone and everything is against you . It’s hard sometimes but thats what make an artist a true artist In my opinion we all come from different backgrounds and struggles but it’s up to us as an individual to determine where and what we want to do with our lifes .
The struggle is real lol , but aye we get it how we get it you feel me aha .
As far as lessons go I want to tell my stories and pain and anger through music . I’m pretty sure someone out there in the world can relate to them in some way or another.
I just want to be able to stamp my self in latin music culture so that the next generations of artists can use me as way of inspiration or motivation. Or maybe even to talk shit about me lol but the point is our people as a nation are being recognized in the Music industry Respectfully and that is my goal

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Universal studios and also city walk has great places to eat like bubba gumps shrimp , if you wanna catch a flick they also have a dope theater to watch you latest movies . Or if u wanna chill we can hit Santa. Monica Pier at night or during the day we can go Venice beach
Smoke a blunt 🌿 catch a vibe fusho.
There’s also this Korean BBQ in Korea town that been blown on up on tik tok where the robots bring you the food lol it’s dope ASF no cap 💯
