We had the good fortune of connecting with Efraim Oren and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Efraim, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process was a simple one, I find that with a broader goal, I have been truly able to let my path carve itself out toward success. Every day I work towards that broad goal and accomplish small steps daily to work my way up. The main thought process was the belief that all homeowners should have access to better loan products. I wanted to build up the community that I was a part of.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart from others in terms of the loan industry is the plethora of different loan options we provide for all types of people. We like to make sure our company is as inclusive as possible regardless of the borrower’s financial situation. For example, for bridge loans for developers, we provide solutions for different types of real estate owners. I’m most proud of our consistency over 40 years of helping and supporting the community of real estate owners and our unyielding resolve to do better every day. In a few words, I got to where I am today business-wise through, a lot of work. And never be satisfied with where I am and want to be better. No, it was not easy, The only way I was able to overcome the many challenges of owning a successful business is with a strong team around me that loves what they do and loves the hard work that comes with it. If I wanted the world to know one thing about my brand it would be that we are part of a bigger community and that the community well being is our well-being. And so we will continuously try to positively influence everyone around us.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in the great city of Los Angeles, there’s no shortage of “favorite spots”. People travel across the world to experience daily life here. If I had a friend coming from out of the area and I wanted to give them a slice of LA in my eyes, I’d take them hiking at Franklin Canyon and Amanshon Ranch in Calabasas. I’ve always been an outdoors guy, whether it be hiking, riding my bike, or just sightseeing around LA. It’s my favorite pastime. I’m also very specific with my food choices, I’d immediately take my friend to Hummus Lali in Westlake Village for some delicious Mediterranean food. We have some beautiful museums as well that are known as staples of our city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are many people who have contributed to the success of my life, it’s not just one particular person. I’ve had many mentors in the past who have helped me in tough times and in times of happiness. Their wisdom lives on with me every day while I tackle the everyday challenges of running a successful business.
