We had the good fortune of connecting with ELEV8 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ELEV8, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
It pursued me. It chose me. From a young age I knew that this was it for me. My love for music runs so deep it goes beyond words.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is ELEV8 and I am an artist, producer and DJ.

It all started when I was a little girl. When I discovered my love for music. It was around the time my dad got me a keyboard. I taught myself how to play the keys by ear, and sing, and from that moment on, I knew this was it for me.

As the years went on I learned how to produce, record myself and mix my own songs. For a few years I did that for myself, and then I started to do it for others as well. Ive been in the music industry for about 10 years now and I produced for a handful of artists, released a ton of songs and even been featured on a Tv show (Fibe Tv One). I got an episode on the vocalist magazine as well as the cover of their fall 2016 issue. All of this happened towards the beginning of my music career.

As time went on I continued to learn and grow my self as a person and artist. I’ve faced many struggles and challenges but the biggest one I would say is myself. Getting out of my own way, getting out of my head and fully trusting myself, my highest self. I’ve learned over the years through a lot of study and experience to trust my self. As I continue to do that, things open up for me.

I’m all about growth, elevating and doing things that excite me. That’s when I feel my best, that’s when I have the most fun.

Creating music and djing live is so fun for me. Once I’m in flow, it just feels so right. Theres nothing else I would want to do than music. It fuels my soul, it makes me feel alive and it brings people together. I look forward to continuing to elevate and expand myself and meet more incredible people to collaborate and create magic with.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many people I could shout out. I’d like to give a huge shoutout to my friends and family. Even the friends that are no longer in my life. Because every single person who came into my life contributed to me being where I am at today.

Next Id like to shoutout two communities, BB500 club and HRDRV. I learned so much from both of these communities. Not only did I learn a lot but I met like minded people. That for me made a huge difference.

Next, all of the prosperity teachers and speakers that I follow and study. I read a lot about mindset and personal development. I am constantly in a sate of learning and growth. Growing my mindset while building my skill has made all the difference in my career and who I am as a person.
