Hi Eli, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The creation of Assemble All Install was driven by the desire to enhance value for Homeowners, Contractors, & Designers. What should our readers know about your business?
The birth of my company emerged from a personal challenge. When my father passed away when I was just 20, I was left with bills and an income of $88 a day, pre-tax, from a custom cabinet shop. The math just didn’t add up. To manage, I ventured into ‘house hacking’ – renovating bathrooms and renting out rooms to cover expenses. I learned everything about renovations from Youtube and began to offer my services as a general handyman.

Quickly, I identified my strong suit – installations, a skill honed at the cabinet shop. I noticed that jobs were often beyond mere home repairs, and an idea sparked. Why not specialize in what I was good at, rather than becoming another jack of all trades. The market had ample home repair experts. Focusing on a niche would allow me to excel and provide superior service.

I believe the same person covered in debris from diverse home repairs shouldn’t be the one hanging your art. Some tasks demand cleanliness, precision, and complex instruction-following, while most handymen I met were better at finding creative solutions for repairs but were not the best with Following complex assembly instructions. By aligning with my strengths and committing to a specialized field, I’ve transformed my challenge into a unique business story that I’m proud to share.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in the city are The beach, 3rd street promenade is a lot of fun and the pier is close by. You can get in some shopping, have some live street performers to watch and enjoy the beauty of being by the water. My favorite spot to dine in is Catch LA the vibes are just right and another cool place to check out would be the Peterson car museum.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My main shout out would be to Patrick Bet David at Valuetainment, its an entrepreneurship channel on you tube that has really help me shape my mind as an entrepreneur to work hard, provide value, improve and excel in my craft. The better i become as an entrepreneur and a leader the more I become a net positive on society.
