Meet Elizabeth Zurita: Photographer, Designer & Marketing Expert

We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Zurita and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elizabeth, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Spending time with family and making memories. I love taking photos so I have memories forever…and who doesn’t love spending time with their family?
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is definitely unique — I illustrate and I take photos. It is pretty rare to find someone who loves taking pictures AND does illustrations, graphic design and marketing. I guess you can say I’m a quadruple threat! I am most proud of how far I have come. When I first started designing and learning all of my trades, I was afraid to put myself out there. I was worried people wouldn’t like my art or think it was pointless. It definitely was hard to share my first piece of art…sure maybe only a few people saw it and I probably got about 10 likes…but I shared it. I’ve learned to no longer care what people think or say about me and my work, because after all it is MY work. If there was one thing I want the world to know about me and my brand, is that I will never stop creating.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If things were back to normal in the world, I would have to say: breakfast at Cici’s Cafe in Tarzana, a visit to Venice Beach and the Third Street Promenade for sure, an adventure in Downtown LA, lunch at the Grand Central Market, a visit to the Hoxton Hotel in DTLA with food and drinks at the rooftop, a visit to the Griffith Observatory, and a drive at night through Mulholland Drive. Plus anything else that comes to mind last minute! The Los Angeles area never ceases to amaze me.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There is no way I could just pick one person for this, because I wouldn’t be where I am today without my parents and boyfriend. My parents have always been so supportive of me and my dreams, they taught me to never give up. When my boyfriend came into the picture, he showed me how important it is to focus on yourself. Without these people in my life, I really don’t know what I would be doing.
