We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Lippy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erica, how do you define success?
I define success as waking up with a heart filled with gratitude and joy, knowing every day that you are living your true purpose and making a positive impact on the lives of others. It’s truly feeling you are living your highest potential and waking up to live each day with a positive outlook. It is knowing that you have the time and resources to pursue what you are passionate about. It’s a life that feels beautifully balanced and that your cup is not only full, but overflowing so you may give more of yourself to others. Success is living a life of fulfillment with vitality and bliss.

For over 16 years I have been a full-time Professional Fit Model for clothing brands. I have been blessed by the success of being self-employed for so many years, although I knew I had a much bigger purpose to serve than my body being used to fit clothing for well-known brands. For over 8 years I have been trying to discover what exactly I was meant to do. I would ask myself, “What am I passionate about and what purpose will I serve.”
Over the last several years I have dived deep into my personal development and have rediscovered my authentic self. I have learned what has been holding me back all along; my false beliefs, stories, and lack of confidence in myself. What began as a personal journey to become my best self, eventually led me to a better understanding of the mechanics that help us live a more healthy, authentic and purposeful life. My journey has uncovered what was standing in the way all along — myself. Once changing my habits, limitations, and mindset I developed a foundation of self love, a deeper connection to self, and my new found passion and purpose. My pursuit has led me on a journey of self mastery and has helped me discover truly what I felt called to do. That is to help ambitious women become the women they are meant to be, to attract the dream life they are meant to have by mastering themselves, their mind, body, and actions. To untimely live a vibrant, healthier, and more fulfilled life. I believe that once we become confident as our authentic self, develop a healthy mindset, and take continuous action towards the life we desire — we can then live our lives fueled with passion and grounded in love, which then we live more purposefully.
I started a personal development podcast, Passion Love Pursuit to inspire, ignite, and encourage others that seek to become their best self, so they may too step into life more confidently, and live more passionately, and purposefully. Now a Top 100 international podcast, as well as featured in Yahoo! Finance and Medium as the Top 20 Podcasts to be listening to in 2020.
My desire is to continue to become more enlightened, grounded and deeply rooted in my truth and existence. To live boundlessly and fully expressed as the authentic woman I am, with a heart filled joy, light and love. To utilize my struggles and turn them into my strenghs. To be a mirror to others that we have the capacity to reclaim the energy from old patterns and habits. We have the choice everyday to reconnect to our inner light and stop believing the stories and lies our minds tell us. We have to commit to ourselves. To close the gap between self rejection and true acceptance, thinking and being, wishing and becoming. Being committed to self shows us that there is no hidden treasure outside ourselves: we are the treasure we have been searching for. We are the one we have been waiting for. We need to let go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embrace who we are. As the better we become at accepting ourselves, the more compassionate we become for others. We have to choose to show up and be real. To let ourselves be seen.
