We had the good fortune of connecting with Erika Seidel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erika, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business came from an idea I had when I was sixteen. I wanted to run a company that helped people connect with themselves and each other through travel and adventure. That initial idea evolved quite a bit, but my main intention has remained which is to help others grow and evolve through connection.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created my business after a difficult spiritual awakening that I went through. I became ill with an auto-immune disease in college and my life started to fall apart. It took me a few years to recover, but – once I was well, I created Dimensional Wanders.

When I started my business, it was challenging and I think I expected it to be easier than it was. The best advice I was given was to just keep going – even if it looks messy. I really had to learn to trust myself and the process of starting and growing a business.

Dimensional Wanders is exciting for me because it gives me an opportunity to help others who are awakening spiritually. And, I love holding space for others because I know how important it is to feel safe, heard, and acknowledged – as a human and as a healer.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I travel most of the year and live a very nomadic lifestyle, so I am always exploring new cities with friends and such. Chances are – the city I’d meet my friend in would be new to me as well as them!

I’m big on brunch and breakfast in general, so I’d find the most recommended places and start the day with that. And, then – pick an area in that city or town and just explore. I’ve noticed that locals usually have incredible recommendations and know their culture best, so I always like to ask and let someone in the area help me come up with my plans.

And, I always like to leave my schedule pretty open because I’m spontaneous and adventurous, and I’d like to say that most of my friends are, too!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my mom. My mom has always been by my side, supporting me – even during some of my hardest moments. She has always been incredibly encouraging and loving, and I will always be so grateful for the support she continues to give me.
