We had the good fortune of connecting with FANGBANGER and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi FANGBANGER, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Most people assume that being signed to a major label will help them but in this current age of technology it’s more powerful to be an independent artist.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
People think we’re just a band, but Fangbanger is a multi-media project, we met at art school so we came from the background of visual art and storytelling to add to the music we make. We combine all of our different influences to create what Fangbanger is today. We’re excited about our single, “Malice in Wonderland” dropping on all platforms starting on March 19th. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d take them shopping on Melrose Ave and take them back to our home studio, it’s the most “us” place in LA.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
