We had the good fortune of connecting with Felipe Alexandre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Felipe, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I grew up around immigrants ever since I came to this country when I was seven years old. Fast forward many years and my passion for learning different languages and cultures coupled with my drive to defend the vulnerable led me to the very natural choice of becoming an immigration attorney. I had the dream of having a law practice where we could serve immigrants from all walks of life, from investors, entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, and highly skilled professionals, to those escaping persecution from their home countries and applying for asylum, and those caught in deportation proceedings and at risk of being separated from their families. I’m happy to report that we have such a team today.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart is not only some of the best competencies you’ll find in the business but also that we take this work personally. We do this work with all of our heart and we expect the same from our team members. A case is not just a file with a case number on it, it represents the dreams and aspirations of a family wishing to make America their new home.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite things about our neighborhood is the amazing Chinese food in the area. We would spend a few days in the Rowland Heights/ San Gabriel area taking them to different restaurants and exploring the various Chinese strip malls in the area: Sichuan Impression, Chengdu Taste, Kyochon Chicken, Sung Nong Dan, Hai Di Lao Hot Pot, and NBC Seafood are just some of the great Asian restaurants we would take them to. Of course, we would explore some of the amazing Mexican and Latino restaurants in the area, starting with Mikasa in the area, and also some awesome food trucks such as the one on Nogales and LaPuente Rd in Walnut, and how could we forget Middle Eastern and Persian food in one of the most thriving Persian communities in the country? Darya in Orange County has a great ambiance and amazing food, and while Taste of Tehran in Westwood is not fancy, the food is incredible and you’re not far from Beverly Hills. To burn off the calories, we would return to my neighborhood of Diamond Bar and we’d go on a hike enjoying some of the best views in LA County!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife has literally been by my side ever since law school and since day one when we founded the business as our Administrative and Operations powerhouse. My parents, who believed in us every step of the way, and our clients for entrusting us with their dreams.
