We had the good fortune of connecting with Fig Heel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fig, is there something you believe many others might not?
There’s an overused saying that goes “hard work pays off”. While I do believe hard work is a necessary ingredient for success, I don’t think it’s most important. A lot of people start off hard-working and scale it back once results aren’t immediate. I always emphasize *CONSISTENCY*. So, I like to adjust that quote to say “Consistent hard work pays off”!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business running the Fig Heel brand did not start off as a business, but simply a Instagram page to share my love for wrestling figure collecting. As the page and interest in my collection grew, my content platforms began to monetize and support on books, merchandise & story started to take off.

Nothing worth having comes easy, but I do believe if you stay on your path, the pieces will fall as they’re supposed to. The biggest lessons I’ve learned are authenticity is king and consistency is its queen.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother and father who supported my love for wrestling and wrestling figures as a child that fueled my passion as an adult resulting in where I am today.
