We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriel Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabriel, what principle do you value most?
The value and principle that means the most to me is “ pure intentions “. This is something I was born with along with heart and no fear but pure intentions are a principle that affects everything.
I am where I am in life now because I’ve always moved with pure intentions and I always believed this. A person with pure intentions will always be rewarded for their efforts while the individuals with the opposite characteristics don’t get too far.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m Gabriel Smith. Author, Life Coach, Husband, Father, Speaker and Designer for the men’s collection of House of Mera.
I am also the co-owner of the House of Mera store located in Plaza West Covina Mall. Fun fact. I wrote my very first book in 2018 which was a self help book based on events of my life. I wrote the book in the memo section of my iPhone which was disconnected and I was homeless.
I used the very same phone to build a website and because of my efforts. I was blessed with a partnership with GoDaddy. I’ve been in 8 commercials and several of their campaigns and the rest is history.
It has never been easy and what sets me a part is how I move as an individual. I move with all heart and pure intentions which always leads me to my rewards.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
would definitely take my best friend to visit my wife’s and I first flagship store for House of Mera located in Plaza West Covina!
I’d let them shop then head to Nobu for dinner and enjoy the vibes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes! My beautiful and loving wife Tymera Smith. As I always highlight. She has without question been my biggest supporter, cheerleader and everything in between and I will forever be grateful for her.
