We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriella Amran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabriella, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting Finally Her Health wasn’t just a business decision; it was a deeply personal mission born out of frustration and necessity. For years, I battled recurrent Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)—an incredibly common but disruptive issue for so many women. At one point, I had nine UTIs in a single year. It felt like I was living my life on edge, constantly anxious about when the next one would hit. The impact went beyond just my physical health—it affected my happiness, my relationship, and my ability to simply enjoy life.

I tried everything: drinking gallons of water, avoiding alcohol, showering multiple times a day, and always peeing after sex. But nothing worked. The only solution I was offered was antibiotics, and by the ninth infection, the antibiotics had stopped working. Overusing antibiotics wasn’t just ineffective for me —it was harmful to my health in the long run. I knew I couldn’t keep going in this cycle of discomfort, anxiety, and dead-end solutions.

I refused to continue living like this and was desperate to find something that actually worked for me. I turned to my dad, who’s both a physician and a published medical researcher. He introduced me to several scientific studies that highlighted natural ingredients with proven effectiveness in preventing UTIs. One study even showed a 93% success rate when these ingredients were used in combination. I pieced together the regimen myself, and for the first time in years, I felt free—free from pain, free from worry, and free to live my life again. I haven’t had a single UTI since, and that was over 3 years ago!

After finally finding something that worked, I started opening up about my experience for the first time, only to discover how many other women were quietly struggling with the same issue—even my best friend, neither of us ever talked about it before! It shocked me to realize how common recurrent UTIs were and how nobody is talking about it, often because of the stigma attached. There are so many misconceptions about what causes UTIs—people often blame poor hygiene or sexual activity —when in reality, many other factors can contribute. Learning that millions of women deal with recurrent UTIs but are reluctant to talk about it because they feel dismissed or ashamed made me realize something needed to be done. I had tried everything out there on my journey to getting better, and none of the existing supplements in the market were using the research-backed ingredients that had finally worked for me. I wanted to help other women get their life back and experience that same sense of relief and freedom that I had once I found what worked. I wanted to create solutions that don’t just mask the problem but truly address it—solutions that are effective, safe, and don’t cause more harm than good. Antibiotics shouldn’t be the only option for something as common as recurrent UTIs.

Our first product, Protect+ Urinary Care, is rooted in science and designed to help women reclaim their confidence and take control of their urinary health. But it’s about so much more than just a supplement. UTIs are rarely talked about, even though they’re one of the most common health challenges women face. Many suffer in silence, unsure of how to break the cycle. When women realize they’re not alone and that there’s a solution created with their needs in mind, it’s life-changing.

For me, starting Finally Her Health wasn’t just about offering a product—it was about creating a community where women feel seen, supported, and empowered. It’s about helping women reclaim their joy and live their lives without limits.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Finally Her Health is so much more than a supplement brand—it’s a purpose-driven company that’s deeply committed to empowering women with solutions that actually work. What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to science-backed ingredients and transparency. During my own struggle with recurrent UTIs, I tried just about every product on the market, and nothing worked. Many of the brands I tried referenced studies that weren’t even conducted on humans, or they used ingredients that didn’t have real evidence supporting their effectiveness. That kind of misleading marketing felt like a betrayal to women like me who were desperately searching for relief.

When I finally found the combination of natural ingredients that actually worked, I realized that no single product on the market offered all of them together. I had to buy five different supplements to recreate the formula from the study, which cost me hundreds of dollars. That’s when I knew there was a massive gap in the market—and an opportunity to create something better for women everywhere.

Our flagship product, Protect+ Urinary Care, is designed to help women with both active UTIs and those who experience them recurrently. Its ingredients work to naturally flush, cleanse, and strengthen the urinary tract, prioritizing prevention so women can reclaim their lives. We’ve heard so many incredible success stories from our customers, and that’s what fuels us every day.

We also stand behind our product 100%. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for anyone who isn’t satisfied with their first bottle. We’re not here to make empty promises—we want our customers to feel confident and supported in their wellness journey.

The process to get where we are today wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. We spent over a year vetting manufacturing partners to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. Protect+ is manufactured in the USA at an FDA-registered, GMP and NSF-certified facility. Every ingredient undergoes third-party lab testing for quality and safety. Our product is also gluten-free, allergen-free, and made with non-GMO ingredients, because we believe women deserve the absolute best.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is the power of patience and purpose. Building a business takes time, especially when you’re committed to doing it right. This company is rooted in serving women first, not profit, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

At the end of the day, Finally Her Health is about more than just solving a health issue—it’s about helping women reclaim their confidence, their vitality, and their joy. That’s the heart of our story, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’re building.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d want to give them the local LA experience, starting with the South Bay— it’s my favorite place LA. We’d spend a ton of time at the beach in Manhattan and Hermosa, playing beach volleyball, bodysurfing, and just relaxing. We’d absolutely need to do a “pier-to-pier” walk on The Strand to catch the sunset and people-watch. You’re almost guaranteed to see some pro athletes playing volleyball or pickleball, which is pretty wild. And of course, brunch at Good Stuff is a must – it’s a local spot I’ve been going to since I was a kid and it’s a classic.

We’d have to squeeze in a hike in Palos Verdes, too — you can see the entire coast from the South Bay to Malibu. My husband and I got engaged there (it’s that gorgeous!), so it’s a super special spot for us. And since it’s just a short drive back, we’d definitely grab lunch at Ali’i Fish Company. Their poke bowls are the best in LA, and it’s one of my favorite local places to eat.

For a more “classic LA” experience, we’d hit up places like The Getty Center or the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). I love the Urban Light installation there—it’s such an iconic spot. And Grand Central Market is perfect for food lovers since there’s something for everyone. One of my favorite dinner spots is Osteria Mozza, so we’d probably head there one night for some amazing Italian food.

I’m also a huge fan of the Original Farmers Market and Eataly. Both are so much fun because you can snack while you shop, and the quality of the food is amazing. I’d stock up on ingredients for a big homemade dinner since I have to make something special for my bestie!

And if we’re talking about must-sees, I’d say Malibu is a no-brainer. Brunch at Malibu Farm and hanging out at Zuma Beach or hiking in Solstice Canyon. The drive alone is absolutely stunning! On the way home, we’d have to stop at Broad Street for oysters.

There’s so much to love about LA—the art, the food, the beaches. But for me, it’s really the mix of iconic spots and little local gems that makes this city so special.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad absolutely deserves the biggest shoutout in my story. Not only did he help me find a solution to my own health struggles, but he’s spent his entire career as a physician dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients. He’s deeply involved in the latest medical research, and his own work has been groundbreaking—particularly in identifying and effectively treating patients with pre-diabetes. His company, Robust for Life, takes a truly holistic approach to care, looking beyond just single factors to understand how lifestyle and physiology work together. Through more accurate testing and personalized care plans, he’s helping patients achieve better outcomes and live healthier lives.

What’s always inspired me most about my dad is how tirelessly he works to make sure his patients have access to the best possible care. He’s the kind of doctor who’s reading medical journals late into the night, constantly looking for better solutions. That mindset—the idea that you have to stay up to date on the latest research to truly help people—is something I’ve carried with me into Finally Her Health.

When I was stuck in the cycle of recurrent UTIs, it was my dad’s commitment to research that gave me a way out. He introduced me to studies on natural ingredients with proven success in preventing infections, which completely changed my life. Sadly, not all women have access to a physician who takes a thoughtful, research-driven approach. Many are left feeling dismissed or stuck with traditional solutions that aren’t effective long-term.

That’s why Finally Her Health is so committed to being science-based and transparent. We share the research behind Protect+ so women can have informed conversations with their doctors and advocate for themselves. My dad taught me that staying informed and being proactive about your health are the keys to truly improving your quality of life, and I’m so grateful for his example.

So, thank you, Dad—for your dedication to your patients, for helping me reclaim my health, and for inspiring me to build something that empowers other women to do the same. You’ve always been my hero.
