We had the good fortune of connecting with GÄDES and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi GÄDES, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always been a creative since I could remember. Rather it be drawing, painting, dancing etc
Music and modeling are just the two I’ve decided to put all of my focus into right now.
Music has been my antidote, my inspiration, where I found freedom when I felt trapped, and has saved my life on many occasions so now I’m ready to give that same energy back to those who need it through my art.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m eclectic, there are so many layers to all of us and I think what sets me apart is I’m not afraid to show or express that depth in an artistic way..I know it seems like a bold statement right now but I have so much more coming.

I’m most proud of how much I’ve grown since I’ve started this journey with music, and I’m soooo freaking excited give all of this to the world

It definitely was not easy getting to this point , I’ve had to pick myself up so many times and remind myself that I absolutely can accomplish anything that I chose to in this life no matter what.
This journey has definitely taught me to not give up on me, because if I don’t believe in me no one else will.

I want the world to know that nothing is impossible, if you can control your focus and your mind on what it is you want and want to become..it can happen
There is no such thing as impossible unless you believe it is.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ll tell you some of my favorite things to do in LA For food I LOVE this cafe on sunset blvd
Butcher Baker & The Cappuccino Maker
perfect spot for breakfast or brunch and they have best breakfast potatoes in LA
Toca Madera and Tu Madre for lunch or dinner
The Peninsula has a great lunch to and the best sweet potato fries as well as Lazy Daisy in Westwood

I’m not a club girl but I love live music and good food so if I want to best of both worlds I’ll definitely be at Delilah for dinner!

Of course going to the beach in California is a must the best ones in my opinion are Malibu, Redondo, Laguna & of course Santa Monica
But if I want to hop on a board I’ll go to Venice beach

Hiking is always fun & going to the skating rink

There’s so much more but I’ll stop there haha

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have had some support from friends and family along the way but all in all have to give credit to myself.. Because I bed in myself the moment I realized the gifts and talents that god have to me I never doubted, questioned or stopped myself from doing what I loved
I didn’t give up on me, didn’t support myself out of obligation, there isn’t a time limit on how much I support myself, picked myself up when I was down and no one knew I was ready to give it all up so..
I think I should give that thank you and recognition ultimately to myself haha
