Meet Gavin White | Professional Athlete (MILB) Software Developer & Online Fitness Coach.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gavin White and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gavin, what do you want your legacy to be?
When people hear the name “ Gavin White “ they will think of a young kid from Beulah Alabama who never gave up. Who faced all odds, who came from a family that didn’t have money, an area that was notorious for drugs, but yet still made it out. The name ”Gavin White “ will always be an example of how possible anything is. From Beulah Alabama, to professional baseball sharing the same locker as Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford, to starting 3 business each generating 100k+.
I want people to remember me as the guy who no matter what happens, I showed up and found a way to make it happen. No matter if I was sick or not, I still found a way to play in the game. No matter if I was tired or not, I showed up to work.
I want people to understand the only reason I have the success I have in all areas of my life is because I mastered the art of being unstoppable. And because I’ve mastered that, my kids in the future will reap the benefits for generations to come.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Nothing has been easy, nothing ever is. But before my pops passed away he told me this quote.
“ if YOU don’t believe in YOU, who will? “
That’s how I’ve overcame everything I’ve ever been faced with. I mastered the art of being unstoppable. I advise you do the same.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s gotta be ocean prime right? Best restaurant there is hands down. Next trips on me!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout a few people that played a roll along the way.
My nano, the best person on earth. You’ve helped me in ways you can only imagine – you were there with me when I bought the Maserati & Camaro. You were right by my side walking into my first professional game. You would throw me a little mini football as a young boy and let me catch it one handed while you would rate my catches 1-10. You have always been there to listen to me in times of need. And you’ve always been there to encourage and support me. There’s absolutely nothing in this life that I can do to repay you for everything you’ve done for me – all I can do is let hundreds of thousands of people know how amazing you truly are. I love you, thank you for always being so great.
My mom and dad as well – both have played a huge role in my success, they’ve taught life lessons on purpose & accident. As a young boy I would sit and listen to my mom study for college, reading me all of the bones & muscle in the body as if it was a nursery rhyme. And dad for showing me how to throw my first Jab and defend myself, my first ankle lock. And for tying me to a tree and throwing baseballs at me so I wouldn’t be scared anymore.
My sister Hayden, for giving me my first responsibility of taking care for another human. Teaching me alertness. The day you were born switched how I viewed everybody I come across. Protecting you is what’s helped me understand people the way I do.
William Hurst , you’re an absolute amazing human. One of the hardest workers I know. We have stories that go way back in time. You showed me a perfect example of brotherhood. And now, having you inside of NMU and being one of the most important employees/executives is absolutely so cool for me to see man. I’m so proud of who you are & who you’re becoming. Understand this brother, I don’t care what life throws are way – it will have to come through me before knocking you down. It’s the least I can do for you champ. Love ya.
Will Ingram, another brotherly figure. Shout out to you for constantly working with me to reach this level before anyone else realized I was even somebody of importance. I will never forget what you’ve done for me – no matter how much, or how little we speak. And same thing goes for you brother , nothing in this life will knock you down without coming through me first.
Meg Maddox, you’ve been like a little sister. You’ve been there in tough times – but more importantly you’ve held me accountable. I’ve been traveling before and coming back from cross country trips or flying in from a different state & she would always make sure I get my workout in. It didn’t matter if I was tired. One of the best compliments I’ve ever gotten from you was a very simple line. “ you’ve actually became somebody, you have influence now. “ Thank you for being you Meg. You’re like a little brother, but like a chick.
Alex Pardo, you’ve been an absolute WORK HORSE! And if it weren’t for you, I definitely wouldn’t even be able to edit videos. You’re like another brother man. It’s a pleasure doing business with you & I’m so thankful to have you inside of NMU as well. Sky’s the limit for you!
And shoutout to anyone else I may be forgetting that’s helped me along the way. Without any of you, none of this is possible.
