Meet Gigi Kokpinar | creative, connector, network builder, digital art creator, actress, and certified wellness practitioner.”

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gigi Kokpinar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gigi, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Here’s a concise response based on the details you provided:
I pursued an artistic and creative career because I’ve always had a natural passion for connecting with people, creating meaningful collaborations, and recognizing the unique potential in individuals. Coming from a background in aviation, where I handled VIPs and celebrities with one of the best airlines in the world, I developed strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Currently, I’m completing a professional acting certificate program, while also focusing on energy healing and yoga. These pursuits align with my love for fostering connections and helping others unlock their abilities. My goal is to bring creativity and collaboration to life, whether through acting, connecting creatives as a Hollywood Creative Liaison, or supporting individuals in their personal growth.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is rooted in the beauty of connection and collaboration. I don’t see art as limited to one medium or style; instead, it’s a bridge between creativity, human connection, and wellness. What sets me apart is my ability to bring people together—whether through digital designs, creative projects, or helping individuals connect with the resources and networks they need to grow. My journey has been about building a community that supports creativity and authenticity.
Getting to where I am today was far from easy. It involved constantly reinventing myself, stepping out of my comfort zone, and embracing roles that stretched my skills and imagination. From managing creative projects and networking individuals to finding balance as a certified wellness practitioner, every step has taught me resilience and adaptability.
One of my biggest challenges was learning to trust my unique path. There’s often pressure to fit into one role or category, but I realized that my strength lies in wearing many hats. I’ve learned to embrace my versatility and turn it into a strength rather than a limitation.
What I want the world to know about me and my story is that creativity is not just about the end product; it’s about the connections you make, the people you inspire, and the lives you touch. Whether it’s through digital art, building networks, or helping someone unlock their creative potential, my passion lies in creating something meaningful and lasting. My brand is all about authenticity, collaboration, and empowering others to thrive in their own unique journeys.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d plan a mix of my favorite places and must-see spots to give them a true LA experience. We’d start with a yoga class at Yoga Nest in Venice Beach, followed by a walk along the boardwalk to soak in the vibrant energy. Lunch would be at a trendy café before exploring iconic landmarks like Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Evenings would feature rooftop bars, live music, and dinner at favorites like Melrose Umbrella Co., offering a perfect mix of relaxation and entertainment.
To dive deeper into LA’s unique vibes, we’d explore the Arts District, admire street art, and visit film or TV studios for a behind-the-scenes Hollywood moment. A day trip to Newport Beach and Crystal Cove would provide stunning ocean views, while Marina del Rey would offer a peaceful stroll or a boat ride along the marina. For nature, we’d head to Kennet Hann Recreation Park, and the diversity of LA would come alive through neighborhoods like Little Tokyo, Koreatown, and Long Beach.
The week would include plenty of spontaneity—taking inspiration from an Anthony Bourdain show to discover hidden gems and unique experiences across the city. Each day would blend creativity, culture, and connection, with moments of rest and reflection over brunch at cozy cafés or during sunsets on the coast. It’d be the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, creating memories to last a lifetime.
