We had the good fortune of connecting with George Lambriodes & Liz Bezler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi George Lambriodes & Liz Bezler, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
George: When we met, we knew what we had was special. It’s rare to find 2 people who not only can connect and compliment each other perfectly in the traditional relationship-sense, but also in a working-sense! While most couples probably wouldn’t dare work with each other, for us it just felt like the right thing to do…

It’s actually crazy just how similar both of our stories are: We both moved to Los Angeles from small towns in 2015 with big dreams of being entertainers. We both at one point were trying to carve out careers as musicians, and we’ve both had to pivot multiple times as freelancing creatives. Ultimately though we both understand the hard work, dedication, and relentlessness needed to work for yourself, no matter what part of the entertainment industry, or any industry for that matter, you’re in.

Liz Bezler is an LA based Director, Producer, and Choreographer with experience in artist development, marketing, brand development, and social media management, while on the other hand I’m a music producer/engineer turned full-time video creator. I’ve produced, edited and delivered movies for companies like Lionsgate, HULU, BET, ALLBLK, Sony/Epic and more. Liz can take any brand from the ground up and direct them to success by focusing on brand awareness, algorithms, and specific target audiences, while I’ve also lead-edited sports and music documentaries, corporate commercials, cooking shows, music videos, live stream concerts, movie trailers, social media content, and much more.

When you mix Liz’s extensive dance, music and social media background with my music and film background, you get the recipe for success! We’ve both been producing projects far before we ever met, and on our website we refer to her as “The Creative Queen” and myself as “The Technical King”, and it just works!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We started GL7 Studios because we want to help creatives bring their visions to life. Specializing in the magic of filmmaking, from full-length feature films to captivating brand content, UGC advertisements, music videos, documentaries, and immersive live events – we’ve got it all covered!

As a dynamic couple-owned business, our passion shines through in every project. We’re not just another production company – we’re our clients’ partners in creativity! Our clients love us for our personal touch, reliability, and being the easiest team to work with from beginning to end.

Having both been in LA for nearly a decade now, it’s safe to say that we’ve both seen what the entertainment industry is REALLY like… And the truth is it’s not all the glitz and glam that TV makes it out to be. We’ve both had our fair share of struggles and we’ve both had had to learn extremely harsh lessons along the way. The entertainment industry isn’t fair, and it never will be, but that doesn’t mean that one can’t still persevere and achieve their dreams. THIS is why we’ve decided to dedicate our lives to being sources of light for those still looking to make their dreams become a reality.

Through countless experiences that taught us both how difficult this industry can be, we fully understand what it DOES take to see a project through all the way from start to finish. It IS possible to do honest business, while ensuring that whatever project we’re apart of provides an experience that will always remains pleasant for everyone involved.

Our mission is to be a one-stop-shop for both production and marketing services. We’re the secret sauce for businesses craving exceptional video or photo content. Whether you’re dreaming of making a movie, rocking a music video, or boosting brand exposure, we want to be your partners! Our commitment to transparency, communication, and speedy delivery is the cherry on top. The bottom line is we don’t want to just get the job done, we want to have fun doing it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’re honestly the absolute worst when it comes to going out on the weekends, however there are a few spots that we can certainly recommend and things that we do enjoy doing.

We’d probably start off by recommending a day trip to the beach. Either the Santa Monica Pier, the 3rd St. Promenade, or Venice Beach, are all must-sees for somebody who’s never been to Los Angeles.

When it comes to nightlife we absolutely love West Hollywood. We used to live right between Sunset Blvd. and Santa Monica Blvd. so we used to always go explore the bars and restaurants in that area.

We currently live downtown, and although we don’t go out much, if we did we probably would be going to places like Perch or The Ace Hotel. We’re definitely suckers for a beautiful rooftop view!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I think it’s most important that we shout out our families. Liz’s mom especially has supported her through everything that she’s been through. Living in LA can be especially tough for upcoming creatives, so it’s important to have a family who believes in your vision, and who remains supportive, even through the tough times.

I’d also love to shout out my parents, who instilled the entrepreneurial spirit in me from a young age. Having watched them run their own businesses in my youth is what really motivated me to want to work for myself, and I can’t see me living my life any other way. And lastly I’d like to shoutout my little brother Stephen aka Stevo, who has followed in my footsteps and moved to LA probably close to 3 years ago now. He’s also taken a liking towards editing, has worked on a ton of movies with me, and he’s somebody who I still work with on projects to this day. Having him here not only as somebody that we can work with, but also as a genuine family member, has been beyond a blessing.
