We had the good fortune of connecting with Glenn Alianza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Glenn, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Six months into starting my business it definitely was a challenge of separating work and life but as weeks went on it got easier and easier. I just learn to silence my phone when I’m not at work and focus on my personal life and do things for me, and make sure I create time for myself mentally and physically also to spend time with family and friends and my life partner. There are times where it does get a little challenging, but I just gotta remember that this business can’t go on without me, and I need to take care of myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from other Eyebrows artist is that I’m not your typical brow artist you see at your local salon. This field is female dominated and it’s not everyday you see a brow artist. My style is unique and natural I love to keep everything natural and full. I like to call myself the eyebrow whisper because I like to encourage all my clients to let their brows grow naturally and show off their natural beauty inside and out. I Brand myself as the Man who Masters the art of Brow shaping. Through the years I had many people tell me I won’t make it because men don’t know beauty like women do. But I like to proved them wrong and show them that this industry is for everyone and there’s no right or wrong way to do certain things on beauty

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When my best friend comes into town, the first thing I do is make them get refreshed take them to a place that only locals know where to go to eat to have a good food after I take them to a spa to have a relaxing afternoon then maybe do some light or heavy shopping maybe back to the hotel or my place wherever they’re staying at have a little cat nap wake up go to a cute dinner my favorite place to eat Hass to be this Ramen spot that I go to in North Hollywood, or there’s other pop in spot in Valley Village maybe get a cute drink somewhere in downtown North Hollywood or maybe in West Hollywood where the night takes us I just enjoy the moment. Enjoy each other’s time feel the vibes and just live life.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’s so many people in organization that I would like to think but to name a few I would like to think my family. Most importantly, my big sister, Veronica, my Nina, Debra, my life partner, Isaac, my Cheer Team Cheer Los Angeles, but most importantly, my dear friend, Kayla Weiss, this could not have happened without any of them. Truly grateful to have big supporters by my side every step of the way encouraging me to keep reaching and keep going because the show must go on for all the love and support. I woke up every day. Blessed to be doing what I love to do and to still be here creating art.
