Meet Greg Etibaryan | Wedding Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Greg Etibaryan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Greg, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
As I write this, my end goal is be a full time wedding photographer, creating beautiful images of human interaction. I love working in my community and seeing the happiness my work brings to clients motivates me to keep going. There have been many instances where I have thought about changing careers or trying something different, but that is anyone who is in the creative industry. If someone tells you they never thought about quitting, they are lying. It can be very frustrating in the beginning and in a way, it still is for me. I only recently became very confident in my work as I have been doing this for about two years. I would still consider myself a beginner but I have learned so much in a very short amount of time. There is an ever evolving learning process all creative professionals go through and I am no exception. I am not sure if my end goal will necessarily change, but it may shift towards more studio based work or working with large brands to bring a campaign or vision to life. I would love to do weddings for as long as I can. They are full of energy, love, and chaos. To some, it sounds like their worst nightmare. To me, it can be extremely rewarding and joyful to capture images that I know will live on forever. Not only for me, but for my clients and their families.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would not necessarily say these aspects of my business separates me from my peers nor does it make me better than anyone. If anything, there is still so much I have yet to learn as I am still fairly new in my community. One thing I will say is that I immediately respond to any and every client inquiry within an hour of receiving their inquiry. I have been told by a few clients that ended up hiring me for their event that they really appreciated it and it made me one of their top choices for a photographer. I always put in my best effort to give clients high quality, unique images as well as delivering their images within 1-2 weeks. I have been working on my post processing workflow for quite a while now and found many shortcuts that have significantly increased my output as one person. The fact that I can deliver images quickly and my clients can see them is a wonderful feeling. I hope to continue this process with my wedding work and I can already see it becoming hectic due to the amount of work it will take but I am always determined to find the most efficient ways to deliver a quality final product.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout Roman from Roman T. Photography. He is a well known Wedding Photographer in my community. Funny enough, he messaged me first through Instagram and asked to come by his studio. After a few hours of discussing my goals and what he was looking for, I started assisting him shortly after and still do to this day. It will be two years in April 2023.
