Hi Guadalupe, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Wow, I love this question! I think taking risks is something that’s both scary and exciting at the same time. I love taking risks. I think one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken in my life was leaving my country, my beloved Mexico, where I grew up and where my family is, to come and explore new opportunities, grow my business, learn, and meet new people. It has been a risk that has been well worth it, as I have grown so much as a person and learned countless things. I believe that taking risks is necessary throughout our lives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Well, I’ll start by mentioning that I’m passionate about what I do. I’m a commercial photographer in Los Angeles, California, and I’ve helped various businesses, brands, content creators, and influencers grow their image and digital marketing. I started doing this while living in Mexico, and I’ve clearly learned and improved over time. I believe that one should never stop learning, it’s the best investment we can make as individuals.

Let me tell you a bit about my business. When I was in Mexico, I helped small entrepreneurs with digital marketing, and that’s when I realized that what I enjoyed most was creating content for different sales channels or platforms. That’s when I started relating more to commercial photography. After the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us experienced a shift to a more digital world, and opportunities arose for online businesses, sales, and more. That’s where my motivation came from to create my business, which has always aimed to help other businesses and entrepreneurs grow in the digital environment, provide the best image for their brand and products, and stay updated on the latest trends and social media opportunities. Now, I’m venturing into artificial intelligence, which has made it easier to grow in the digital world.

I’m proud of what I’ve achieved, and I’m still learning. I’m excited about what’s to come. Was it easy? Of course not! But as I mentioned earlier, I love challenges, and I love learning even more. I believe that many opportunities are coming.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Wow, that’s interesting! Well, a week would barely scratch the surface, but maybe it’s enough. One thing I love about California is that there’s so much to do. I’d plan an itinerary with time: On Monday, I’d take them to LA’s most popular spots, like the Griffith Observatory with a view of Hollywood, then a walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame to take photos with their favorite celebrity’s star. And, of course, a delicious meal at a West Hollywood restaurant, one of my favorites is Pendry, with a beautiful rooftop view and tasty food.

For Tuesday and Wednesday, I’d suggest visiting one of LA’s famous parks, either Disneyland or my favorite, Universal Studios, to try some of the food they sell and experience the atmosphere. On Thursday, I’d plan a trip to some of Orange County’s beautiful cities, like Newport Beach, maybe an afternoon at the beach and dinner at a beachside restaurant.

Friday and Saturday could be fun for a longer drive, maybe to Las Vegas, to explore the casinos, nightlife, maybe a concert, and a delicious buffet. And on Sunday, I think it would be a relaxing day, like going hiking in Malibu

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Of course, there is someone, usually someone behind every story, in my case, it’s my dad and mom. I believe they have both always motivated me to bring out the best in myself. My dad is someone I think has been my inspiration all this time, as he also explored moving to another country at just 15 years old to support his family, and has been someone who has achieved so much. He has taught me to always take care of my body, built his own business, and managed to provide for my four siblings, my mom, and me without us ever lacking anything. For sure he is my greatest inspiration.
