Hi HANA, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
One quote that stands out to me is: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” — Steve Jobs.

I really like this one because it highlights the importance of passion in achieving excellence. When you genuinely enjoy something, you’re more likely to put in the effort and creativity needed to truly make it great. It reminds me that finding meaning and joy in the process can be just as important as the outcome itself. It’s about dedication and bringing your best to whatever you’re working on, because you’re connected to it on a deeper level.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My job feels incredibly people-focused, and I absolutely love that aspect of it. I truly believe that people are some of the best teachers in life. Every person you encounter—whether you connect with them instantly or not—has something unique to offer, something that can teach you more about yourself. It’s amazing how each interaction, no matter how big or small, can reveal new perspectives or challenge you to grow in ways you didn’t expect. I consider myself a naturally curious person, and I thrive on learning new things. My job has presented me with countless challenges and opportunities, each one providing valuable lessons that I carry with me, not only in my professional life but also in my personal life. It’s a constant journey of growth and discovery, and I find that both exciting and rewarding.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is such a fun question – I absolutely love planning trips and things to do on the weekends! Los Angeles is one of my favorite places because it has an endless amount of things to offer, and I’m a huge believer in living a balanced lifestyle. I thrive on having a solid routine and structure throughout the week, but I also value making time for fun on the weekends. If I were planning the perfect weekend, I’d definitely start by making dinner reservations for each night. I’m a huge foodie and absolutely love exploring new restaurants and tasting different cuisines. I feel so fortunate and grateful to have had the opportunity to travel around the world and experience a variety of cuisines, and I think that has really deepened my appreciation for food.

Aside from eating, I would make sure to mix in some energizing workout classes to keep the weekend balanced. A few of my favorite spots are Burn in Brentwood, House of Core for Pilates, and of course, Barry’s. It’s always nice to get a good sweat in while still having fun! I would also make time to visit Manhattan Beach for a relaxing walk along the Strand and if it is sunny out, lay on the beach for a couple of hours. A trip to the Brentwood Farmers Market would definitely be on the agenda too, since I love supporting local vendors. To top it all off, I’d end the weekend with a visit to Pause, a wellness spa that has everything from cold plunges to infrared saunas to cryo-therapy. It’s the perfect way to unwind and recharge before the week begins.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would say my family – they have given me all the confidence in the world to believe in myself. I think that surrounding yourself with people who encourage you, believe in you, and push you is the key to success. My family is so tight-knit and I like to keep my inner circle small, I truly go to them for everything. I wouldn’t be where I am, or who I am today, without them.
