Hi Hao Wen (Claudia), how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Prior to the Covid pandemic, the concept of achieving balance in my life was not something I had given much thought to. Like many individuals living in highly competitive cities, I was focused on pursuing my studies and career without much consideration for achieving a more harmonious lifestyle. However, when Covid hit, and lockdown measures were implemented, my daily routine was significantly disrupted, leaving me with little to do besides work, eat, and sleep. In the first month of lockdown, I worked for nearly 13 hours a day, leading to physical and mental exhaustion. Then, I realized the importance of setting boundaries between work and personal life. I moved my workspace to the living room, stopped responding to messages outside of work hours, and made time for other activities such as cooking, reading, and exercise. By doing so, I was able to regain my sense of balance and achieve a more comfortable and stable mental state. I now view balance as the ability to be mindful of when I am losing focus and taking steps to restore my mental well-being, regardless of the time it takes. Ultimately, I believe that achieving balance is an ongoing process that involves finding harmony in personal and professional pursuits while living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

I possess a unique specialization in delivering unmatched value to brands through the power of design. With experiences across events, editorial, digital platforms, and brand identities, I have perfectly honed my craft. My portfolio boasts an impressive array of successful branding projects for renowned firms in the education, consumer goods, finance, and technology sectors. Throughout my journey, I have been privileged to collaborate with extraordinary individuals, both team members and clients, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

What sets me apart is my ability to take a holistic approach, leveraging my business acumen and my profound understanding of design. Design goes far beyond mere aesthetics; it is a powerful tool for effectively communicating ideas through visual language. I am captivated by the art of transforming concepts into visually compelling narratives that resonate deeply with audiences.

Within my artwork, I boldly express my emotional depth and independent spirit. Art is the realm where my creative soul thrives, enabling me to channel my inspiration into continuous, unrestrained creation. I possess an innate appreciation for capturing fleeting moments, imbuing them with exquisite attention to detail. This devotion to craftsmanship is epitomized in my brand, Possibility of Becoming, where I encapsulate my visionary perspectives and belief that every entity holds the potential to transcend into something truly extraordinary.

I am incredibly fortunate to have had an incredible network of mentors, friends, and family members who have consistently supported me throughout my creative journey. Among them, my family deserves a special shoutout for providing me with unwavering support that surpasses anything I could have ever wished for. In the realm of Asian culture, pursuing a career in art can often pose challenges, as many parents tend to prefer more stable and practical career paths for their children. However, my family stands out as a beacon of support, always encouraging me to pursue what I am truly passionate about. Their unwavering belief in me has allowed me to explore my creativity freely, and I firmly believe that I would not have achieved the level of success I enjoy today without their unwavering support and encouragement.
