Hi Haven, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting my business was a deeply personal and rewarding journey for me. From a young age, I found joy in experimenting with different hairstyles and helping friends and family feel confident in their appearance. As I grew older, I realized that this passion for hairstyling was more than just a hobby—it was a calling. 
It started off as a side hustle, a creative outlet that I pursued alongside my main career. Balancing my primary dream job with my growing interest in hairstyling was challenging, and it still is. I cherish the moments spent behind the chair connecting with clients and bringing their hair dreams to life. The ability to transform someone’s look and boost their confidence through the power of a haircut or color is incredibly fulfilling to me. And simply because of the facts, I can’t just give up what I have built so easily.
I also believed the results were a means of combining my artistic abilities with my ambition to actually change people’s lives. Being a hairstylist is not just about doing an individual’s hair; it’s about building relationships, listening to clients’ needs, and helping them feel their best selves.
Additionally, the hairstyling industry offered me the opportunity for personal and professional growth. I knew that by pursuing this career, I would have the chance to continuously learn and evolve, whether it’s staying up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques or honing my business skills as an entrepreneur.
It was a calling that I couldn’t ignore, a passion that burned brightly within me and propelled me forward, even in the face of challenges. Today, as a hairstylist, I am grateful for the opportunity to not only express my creativity but also to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients, one haircut at a time.

My work as a hairstylist is driven by a passion for creativity, precision, and personalized service. What sets me apart is my dedication to understanding each client’s unique vision and translating it into a hairstyle that not only meets but exceeds their expectations. I take pride in staying abreast of the latest trends and techniques, ensuring my clients receive the highest quality of service and the most current styles.

My journey to where I am today has been marked by challenges, but through perseverance and a strong support system, I’ve overcome them and emerged stronger. I’ve learned the importance of adaptability and resilience in the face of adversity, constantly striving to innovate and evolve in my craft.

Ultimately, I aim to empower my clients to feel confident and beautiful, and I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions with the same dedication and determination. My story is one of determination, growth, and a commitment to excellence in hairstyling.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend visited Los Angeles, I would have an itinerary packed with plenty of options. Growing up in LA, I have realized there are a plethora of things to do for fun, from sightseeing to eating at a fun restaurant. There are also always events that are preplanned and will leave you with unforgettable experiences, like concerts or food markets. We have beaches, amazing views, and amusement parks that offer thrilling rides and attractions. Additionally, catching a movie at one of the movie theaters, or for a better experience, the Paramount Drive-In. With so much to explore, LA promises an unforgettable adventure for visitors of all ages.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family and friends for their unwavering support. My dad’s memory serves as a constant source of motivation, pushing me to pursue my passions with determination and resilience.
