We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Duffy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather, is there something you believe many others might not?
Yeah! One piece of conventional advice I disagree with is “Fake it till you make it.”

While confidence is important, faking expertise or success can backfire, especially in professional settings. Learn as you go and be honest about what you don’t know. People respect authenticity (especially now in our world) and you can build credibility by showing a willingness to grow rather than pretending you already have it all figured out.

What should our readers know about your business?
At its core, my business is about the power of storytelling and connection. In an ever-changing media landscape, I believe that PR isn’t just about visibility—it’s about building meaningful relationships, fostering trust, and creating impact. My firm is dedicated to helping brands craft compelling narratives that resonate with the right audiences and drive real results.

What sets us apart is our commitment to community and strategic partnerships. Success in PR doesn’t happen in isolation—it’s built on strong networks, collaboration, and the ability to bring people together for a shared purpose. By leveraging deep industry relationships and aligning with like-minded brands and media, we create opportunities that go beyond traditional PR. It’s not just about getting coverage; it’s about shaping conversations and building lasting influence.

The journey to where I am today has been filled with challenges, but every obstacle has reinforced the importance of adaptability and resilience. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that PR is as much about listening as it is about storytelling. Understanding a client’s mission, values, and audience is what allows us to craft narratives that truly make an impact.

More than anything, I want the world to know that this business is built on authenticity, strategy, and the belief that when the right stories are told in the right way, they have the power to inspire, connect, and create real change.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely go to Larchmont Village for lunch and shopping – Larchmont Wine & Cheese has the best sandwiches in town! I would go for a hike to the Griffith Park Observatory. The best place to see a concert is The Greek Theater. I’d have dinner at Little Dom’s and walk to the venue. Grand Central Market in downtown is a great lunch spot. A trip to MOCA while in downtown is always fun. Everyone always wants to see the beach and Malibu Farm is the best spot for that. The other thing that is great about LA is you can be in the mountains in Arrowhead or in wine country in Santa Ynez or Paso Robles or the desert in Palm Springs in a matter of hours!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As a fourth-generation Angeleno, I owe a lot to my Los Angeles network. My hometown has played a vital role in the growth and success of my PR firm. From trusted partnerships to unwavering encouragement, every connection has contributed to building something truly meaningful.

Los Angeles is more than just a city—it’s a community of innovators, creators, and supporters who uplift one another. The gratitude for this network runs deep, and the impact of its support is immeasurable. I look forward to continued collaboration, success, and giving back to the city that has given so much and been a foundation of my professional journey.
