Meet Heather Mack | Ceremonialist, Kambo Practitioner & Guide for Soul Remembrance

We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Heather, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Divine Gift was born out of a deep spiritual awakening—a moment when I realized that I could no longer spend my energy in ways that weren’t aligned with my soul’s calling. After nearly two decades in corporate America, I felt called to step into a life of service, one that honored the path I was healing myself with as I walked through depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma.
I left my corporate job in 2022 and didn’t have a business plan—only a strong inner knowing that I was here to support others in remembering their power, reconnecting with the divinity within and a fresh tattoo of surrender on my wrist. Through the unraveling I was shown every experience, every challenge, every medicine I sat with revealed that my wounds were actually my gifts and were helping me find the divinity in this experience. Through this journey of self exploration I quickly learned I was meant to guide others home to themselves. Starting my own business was less about building something external and more about surrendering to what Spirit had been whispering all along.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a ceremonialist, Kambo practitioner, and founder of Divine Gift —a sacred container dedicated to healing, remembrance, and our community called the Conscious Collective. I support souls through Earth medicine ceremonies, integration work, and curated community gatherings that awaken the divine within.
What sets my work apart is the depth of lived experience I bring into every space I hold. I didn’t study this path in a textbook—I walked it through depression, anxiety, addiction, eating disorder, and nearly two decades in corporate America where I was slowly dying inside. My healing journey began when I stopped numbing and started listening. Plant medicine, especially Mushrooms, Kambo, Ayahuasca, and Iboga, cracked me open to the truth that my wounds were actually divine assignments—guides showing me the way back to myself.
Leaving corporate without a game plan was one of the most terrifying and liberating things I’ve ever done. I surrendered deeply—again and again—and trusted that I was being guided. It wasn’t easy. There were moments I questioned everything, but through each ceremony, each initiation, I was shown that I am here to love and serve… and that everything I’ve walked through was preparing me for what I get to do now.
I’m most proud of the spaces I create—spaces where people feel safe to unravel, to be seen, and to reconnect with their own power. I’m proud of the individuals who gather vulnerably and remember that healing is not just an individual path—it’s a collective one. I’m proud of the brave souls who’ve found peace, purpose, and clarity after sitting in ceremony. That’s the medicine.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that surrender isn’t passive—it’s the most courageous act we can choose. Surrendering to divine timing, to Spirit’s guidance, to the unraveling of identities we no longer need. From this space, true transformation begins.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and Divine Gift, it’s this: Every conscious breath, every tear, every breakthrough… is sacred. This life is the ceremony. And we each carry a unique medicine the world needs. Divine Gift is a reminder that your presence—your truth—is the gift.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I’m a little bias since I’ve lived in South Bay for 9 years now, but I would bring them to my humble little home in Hermosa Beach. We could do Yoga at Soho Yoga or go for a morning hike in Palos Verdes. Then have brunch at The Source Cafe, do a little shopping at Curious and Soul Bungalow. I love doing workshops at Amaloa’s healing space or watching the sunset from the rooftop or the beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. None of this has been walked alone, and I carry deep gratitude for the souls who’ve reflected my light back to me along the way.
First and foremost, I want to dedicate this shoutout to my parents—my mother, who served 30 years in the military and 48 years in healthcare, embodying resilience, service, and unconditional love, and my father, whose vision of world peace continues to guide my mission. Their devotion to others laid the foundation for the path I walk today.
To the medicine—Mushrooms, Kambo, 5meo, Ayahuasca, Iboga—and to the wise elders, facilitators, and guardians of these sacred traditions who held me through my unraveling and remembering, thank you. You showed me that my wounds were never weaknesses—they were the portals to my purpose.
To my teachers, mentors, and soul family—especially the women who walked beside me, witnessed me, and reminded me who I am in moments I had forgotten—thank you for your reflection, your truth, and your love.
And finally, to the Divine, to Spirit, Creator for orchestrating it all… for whispering the vision of Divine Gift into my being before I even understood what it meant.
This journey is a collective remembrance. I’m just one thread in the great weaving.
