We had the good fortune of connecting with Hiroe Imai and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hiroe, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Embarking on the path of meditation and self-healing has been transformative for me 🙂
Around four years ago, my meditation and healing journey began, and since then, my life has undergone significant positive changes. Through consistent meditation and self-healing practices, I manifested my aspirations for my own business and personal life.
A vital part of my healing process involves using the power of aromas and plant medicine to align my energy. Every day, I dedicate time to meditation, which has become an essential part of my routine.
As I progressed in my self-healing journey, I started to experience a newfound inner strength— this inner assurance fuels my determination to keep moving forward, no matter the challenges that come my way.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
If my work could instill confidence, beauty, and self-love in just one person, it would fill me with eternal gratitude.
My art serves as a source of energy and passion for others. When I immerse myself in the creative process, a part of me becomes a conduit for their needs and desires.
With a single word, I can lift them up; with a simple action, I can make them realize their true worth.
Yet, the most challenging aspect lies in my relationship with myself. Running my own business often leads me to neglect my own needs.
I firmly believe that inner beauty begins with embracing and loving oneself. From that place of self-acceptance, we can extend love to others.
Owning and operating my own business has taught me valuable lessons: to love myself, believe in my abilities, follow my heart over my mind, and seek help and rest when needed.
Every moment brings out different facets of our being. Embracing and loving all aspects of ourselves allows us to connect with our true selves in every moment.
Treating ourselves and others with love will elicit responses that resonate with love and positivity.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Live music 🙂 The musicians are incredibly talented and the venue has amazing vibes.
Federal at Noho and Bacari in Silverlake have been always my go-t0 hangout spots. Great food, great people.
Also highly recommend everyone check out @randyemata and @theburgundyla on IG!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am immensely grateful to my mentors Homma, Nancy, and Little Tree Aroma for the profound impact they have had on my life.
Homma, a chiropractor and a truly magical individual, astonished me when he touched my body and said, “You have a family problem.” I couldn’t fathom how he could know that, but little did I know that this encounter would mark the beginning of my healing journey, which started four years ago.
Nancy, an incredible aroma therapist who uses Little Tree Aroma at Homma’s clinic, combined her expertise in kinesiology, chiropractic, and aromatherapy to address my trauma, inner child healing, and mental health. Their deep knowledge and holistic approach unveiled the weight of the abuse I had endured, a burden that had stolen my freedom and robbed me of happiness and peace.
As I began the process of healing my past pains, the longest night of my life finally came to an end. They provided me with the guidance and light I needed to find my way forward.
