We had the good fortune of connecting with Hugo Galaxy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hugo, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I mean, like making people laugh. This gonna sound hella cheesy but before stand up comedy, like at the end of the day when I rested my head a genuine thought before going to bed was, did I make someone laugh today. Comedy allows me to do that 10 fold

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart? Mmm idk I’m the one and only me lol. that’s a tough one to think about and I don’t really think about that kind of thing or trying to set myself apart. I am just me and nobody can be that accept me. Definitely not been an easy journey and far from over, but we make this far by not giving up and believing in yourself. A nice lesson I learned is to not sweat the small stuff, and it’s usually all small stuff. That and to always have fun when on stage which sounds cliche’ but having fun is such and underrated thing to think about while under pressures of trying to perform well. Excited to drop my first special ‘Beam me Up’ later this year

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m a simple guy. tacos a cold one and the beach. Everyone that’s come to visit me once place were always hitting is the beach. I like trying new restaurants and concerts and LA is historic for both so prob take them to a show. And some good eats.
