We had the good fortune of connecting with Inancy Chery and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Inancy, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I think it was inevitable. I’ve always been an artistic person. Being creative energizes and calms me. When I was younger, I channeled it through fashion. I loved being able to style people and help my clients bring their visions to life. Now I enjoy helping my clients to enjoy life’s moments and create memories with their family and friends as a personal chef through my curated fine-dining experiences.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Actually, I’ve got an update on my business. Initially when I started my company, I provided elevated healthy meal prep and in-home dining experiences. As time has passed and I’ve learned more about myself, I’ve decided to switch gears a bit and focus on elevated in-home dining experiences. Life can throw a lot at people, so I love to help them to sit back and relax. To enjoy spending time with their loved ones and delicious food. And while meal prep certainly achieves this, I’ve found that I really love creating dining experiences on the spot. There’s magic in the air that you just don’t feel when doing meal prep.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wow! Lol okay this part is hard–LA has so many amazing spots. I’m all about scenery and amazing food. For brunch with breathtaking views, I’d take them to Waldorf Astoria’s rooftop restaurant, The Rooftop by JG. For dinner, I’d take them to Nobu in Malibu; everything is so fresh and the ocean view is fantastic. I’m not a club person, but I do love a cute rooftop or lounge vibe, so hitting up the art district in downtown LA is a must. It’s so cute there and there are a ton of great restaurants and awesome spots to grab a drink. One of my favorite spots is this adorable low-key wine bar, Garcons de Café. The owner is so knowledgeable and because of him, I now have a sparkling Chardonnay that I’m in love with (and I don’t even like Chardonnay!).
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
