We had the good fortune of connecting with Ingrid Dietrich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ingrid, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my personalized customer service. With over 70 amazing clients who regularly trust me with their website maintenance, graphic design, branding, and social media needs, I make it a priority to treat each one as special. My clients know they can always reach me—I’m just one call away, no time zones to worry about since I work exclusively with businesses in the USA. Whether it’s a quick update or a big project, I’m here to help, making sure their businesses shine and their needs are met with care and attention.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Ape & Droid Studios, is based in sunny Encino, California, and what truly sets us apart is the one-on-one connection I have with my clients. I create personalized packages tailored to their unique needs and offer one-on-one coaching for branding and website maintenance. Nothing makes me prouder than watching my clients’ businesses bloom and grow. I started back in 2010 as a commercial photographer, but it didn’t take long to realize my clients needed more—a solid platform to showcase their products and consistency in their branding. So, I sent myself to school, learned everything I needed to help them succeed, and here we are, flourishing together!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, we’d definitely head to Malibu—I absolutely love it there! We’d relax at Leo Carrillo Beach and hike the trails at Malibu Creek. If we had a whole week, though, I’d take them camping at Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara. We’d drive to Solvang for Danish pastries and grab some delicious pizza at Tower Pizza. At night, we’d stroll by the marina, grill marshmallows around the campfire, and sip on hot cocoa under the stars—it doesn’t get better than that!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The support and mentorship of my parents have been invaluable in my journey. As former business owners and managers for different companies, their guidance and encouragement have shaped how I approach my own business. But the biggest thanks go to my husband, Jeffrey Dietrich. He’s not just my biggest fan—he’s my rock. Jeffrey believes in my dreams and aspirations and has always pushed me forward instead of holding me back. He sees my potential even when I doubt myself, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful. His support means everything to me, and I couldn’t do this without him.
