We had the good fortune of connecting with Ira Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ira, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
Being a business owner has allowed me to be able to balance out my time with my children and business. It was understanding that if I wanted to build and empire for my kids and be there for them at the same time I needed to work on balance which has made my life so much more valuable with my kids. I am able to make my daily sales goal pick my kids up from school and keep my business running while spending time with them. My kids will see how to be successful in what you but not focus only on one thing which is money because you will miss some of the best things life have to offer.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The power circle is a brand of empowering and keeping your circle full of like-minded people. Was sets my brand apart from others Is customer service and being able to provide limited and sold out items even unreleased UK items to our clients to satisfy their needs. I got in this position by selling shoes from my moms house are used to do security at the famous south coast plaza in Orange County thanks to Danny Perez for putting me in that position he allow me to work in a environment where I have never seen so much money we spent in such a little time till instead of wanting the money I wanted the product to be able to receive the sales. It was not easy but I kept telling myself that I am going to open a store that has a very large variety from your every day shoes to all high-end shoes. The lessons that I learned along the way is learning to always stay on top of your products knowing what is coming out and being first getting it also knowing exactly what your clients love so your sales can go through the roof. What I want the world to know is once you Shop with the power circle you will have one of the best retail shopping experiences even if you don’t spend any money you will still feel great that you came to visit our store. We treat everyone as VIP there is no one bigger than God.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a pretty good question here haha So first we will go to my store and I will make sure that my best friend has the freshest shoes on then we will of course visit Magic Mountain Universal Studios possibly Knotsberry farm. I don’t drink but I love to eat so I will definitely take my best friend tune Ruth Chris steakhouse capital grill McDonald’s french fries and apple pies For sure we would have to visit Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Hollywood will be one of our main attractions taking my best friend through Hollywood Boulevard and through Sunset Boulevard and through all the hills to see all the mansions. We would for sure have to visit the beauty lounge in Norwalk to get the best hairstyle. And for sure we have to stop by Dvillgrill to get some soul food along with munchies kitchen to eat her amazing pork chops. We will check out Docs detox tea along with uncle B’s for that amazing chicken sandwich.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to shoutout GOD. So many Challenges that I had to go through along with being a first time storefront owner not understanding everything but taking big risk knowing that the God that I serve has my back and has not let me down. Shoutout To my family and my kids who are the biggest reasons to why I work so hard to give them more than what they have given me.
