We had the good fortune of connecting with Irvin Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Irvin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My open-minded attitude and creativity significantly contributed to my decision-making process when starting my own business. I am someone who isn’t afraid to try different things; even if I fail, I can easily adapt, while it may be difficult for others to do. I started The Grizzly Podcast because I was tired of having companies pass on me or not allow me the opportunity to grow as a personality or host because of politics or because they didn’t believe in me. I know my worth, and I know what I bring to the table because I am someone who is passionate about what I do. I am in this business because I enjoy meeting different people and sparking up meaningful and authentic conversations. The Grizzly Podcast is a platform for others to share their stories. I want to put the spotlight on people who work hard to achieve their goals because that shouldn’t go unnoticed. Everybody deserves recognition for their achievements.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m really passionate about my podcast, as I previously mentioned. I enjoy incorporating a wide variety of guests, from musicians to actors to business owners and athletes. This approach not only sets my show apart but also allows me to connect with a diverse audience. I’m most proud of how this blend positively impacts my podcast and resonates with listeners and viewers from different backgrounds.

Getting to where I am today professionally wasn’t easy. There were definitely challenges, like finding my unique voice and staying true to it amidst industry pressures. Overcoming these challenges required a lot of perseverance, self-belief, and the support of my loved ones. I’ve learned that being open-minded and not judging others’ choices can lead to incredible creativity and growth, both personally and professionally.

What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that it’s all about embracing diversity and unity through this podcast. My journey is a testament to the power of staying true to yourself and your vision, no matter the obstacles. Stay on your Grizzly!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I were planning a week-long trip to show my best friend (girlfriend) the best time ever in Los Angeles, here’s what I might include in the itinerary:

Day 1: Start the trip with some delicious Mexican food at Salsa & Beer in North Hollywood, followed by a stroll along the Santa Monica Pier to soak in the laid-back vibes.

Day 2: Explore the iconic Griffith Observatory for stunning views of the city and then head to the Getty Center to appreciate some art and architecture.

Day 3: Treat ourselves to a fancy dinner at some restaurant in Malibu and enjoy the beautiful ocean views.

Day 4: Visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame and maybe catch a show at the Hollywood Bowl for a taste of LA’s entertainment scene.

Day 5: Take a hike at Runyon Canyon Park for some exercise and breathtaking views of the city.

Day 6: Spend the day at Disneyland for a fun-filled day and some magical moments.

Day 7: Wrap up the trip with a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood to have an exciting afternoon at another theme park.

These are just some ideas to make the trip memorable and exciting! Thank you all again for your time. I had a blast! Please make sure to check out the Grizzly Podcast, which is available for streaming online at GrizzlyPodcast.com and on all major podcast platforms!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I love the idea of the Shoutout series! It’s so important to acknowledge the people who have helped and supported us along the way. For me, I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my family, friends, listeners, and viewers who have always been there for me, cheering me on and encouraging me to pursue my dreams. Their love and support mean everything to me. Without them, The Grizzly Podcast would not be as successful as it is today, so they are all part of my journey. We’re a tribe!
