We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isaiah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I embarked on the journey of creating “IRMTALENT,” my thought process was rooted in a deep understanding of the challenges that creative individuals often face when expressing their passions and hobbies. I envisioned a platform where people could freely embrace their true selves, whether immersing themselves in another world as a character, honing their acting skills, or showcasing their modeling talents. I recognized the need for a space where creative souls could break free from the constraints of societal norms and share their passions without fear. “IRMTALENT” became that space, a nurturing community where artists and dreamers could flourish. I’ve witnessed incredible transformations and the untamed fire of ambition as our members rise to new heights, from cosplay to acting to modeling. We celebrate diversity and uniqueness, and in the world of “IRMTALENT,” everyone finds their place to grow, improve, and truly shine.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What truly sets our shop and business apart is our unwavering commitment to crafting immersive and unforgettable experiences for our guests. In a world filled with companies attempting to do the same, our dedication to providing a level of interaction and engagement that rivals the giants of the entertainment industry like Disney and Universal makes us stand out. While we may not have their colossal budgets, this very challenge has fueled our determination to continuously refine and enhance our operations, ensuring efficiency and allowing us to focus on what truly matters – the genuine and memorable interactions we create with our guests. As we grow, we are determined to bridge the gap between budget constraints and delivering exceptional experiences, striving to make each visit to our establishment an enchanting journey that lingers in the hearts of our visitors long after they’ve left.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Over three memorable days in Los Angeles, explore Japanese culture and the beauty of nature at the Huntington Library’s Japanese Garden and savor traditional breakfast at Mitsuru Café. Lunch on exquisite ramen in Little Tokyo at Daikokuya, followed by an afternoon of arcade games and bowling at Round 1. On day two, indulge in a hearty breakfast at République before visiting Santa Monica Pier’s Playland Arcade, then enjoy fresh sushi at Sugarfish and stroll along Venice Beach. For the third day, visit The Getty Center and have lunch at Guelaguetza for authentic Oaxacan cuisine. Discover the history of Japanese Americans at the Japanese American National Museum and conclude with a dinner at République. Enjoy LA’s diverse offerings and make the most of your visit.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe a significant part of my success with “IRMTALENT” to the unwavering support and mentorship of my dear friend and colleague, Michael “Tiny” Alcorn. As I ventured into the challenging realm of running a business and navigating the intricacies of talent management, it was Tiny who stood by my side, offering invaluable guidance and sharing his expertise. His mentorship paved the way for me, making it possible to build and nurture this creative community. I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the remarkable individuals who form the core of our IRMTALENT team. Anthony Fisheli, our Assistant Manager, brings unparalleled dedication and enthusiasm. As my Personal Assistant, Ralph Bria has been our operations’ backbone. Clara Recinos, our talented Photographer, has captured the essence of countless talents, and Felix Perez, our Stage Crew member, ensures our events run smoothly. Together, with their unwavering commitment and passion, we continue to elevate IRMTALENT to greater heights.
