We had the good fortune of connecting with Izzy Lugo III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my absolute unwillingness to stay stagnant. If I feel like there’s no more room for growth, I’ll let you know and I think that comes from my time way back when I was an intern. From starting as a mascot in sports to negotiating naming rights deals for stadiums, marathons, and more – I’m constantly putting myself in positions where I can have an impact but most importantly. in roles that will help shape my growth.

I had teachers, coworkers, and others tell me that I couldn’t do what I’m doing today and if I wasn’t comfortable with who I was, I would’ve listened to them. But I’m glad I didn’t.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d tell them to hit up Lucy and Geza from TIP Supply, Tara from Home Team, and Edwin from Adidas. They’ll take them to the real places and show the true LA!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My loved ones are my backbone. From my fiance, my parents, and my brother to my in-laws – they all help me more than they know. They keep me rooted, help me learn from mistakes and most importantly, keep me from going insane
