Hi J., we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
For me, risk-taking is a fundamental aspect of achieving success, particularly in the realm of business. I firmly believe that the greater the risk, the more promising the outcome or result can be. This perspective has greatly influenced my approach to decision-making and navigating my career path.

From the moment I graduated from school, I found myself immersed in the world of risks and business. In what can be described as one of the most significant leaps of faith in my life, I made the courageous decision to leave my job. This bold move was coupled with selling my car to finance my living expenses for the next five months. My next step was to embark on a journey of self-improvement and professional growth by studying for a mortgage loan officer license. This particular path appealed to me because it aligned with my desire for a more self-employed setup where I could have greater control over my time and simultaneously assist individuals in realizing their dreams of homeownership.

In 2018, I founded my own business, Out And About Business Solutions, as a result of this experience. This project not only demonstrates my entrepreneurial spirit but also the importance of taking calculated risks in my personal and professional life. Briefly, I believe that calculated risks are essential stepping stones toward achieving my goals and realizing my full potential.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Out And About Business Solutions was founded in 2018 and it has been helping businesses nationwide to grow and succeed. The company is known for its ability to take an idea and transform it into a real business, making it an ideal partner for any entrepreneur looking to start or grow their business.

With five successful years in the Las Vegas market, Out And About Business Solutions is expanding its reach to the Los Angeles and Orange County markets. The company’s vision for 2023 is to provide support to start-ups and small businesses in these regions through their Business Consulting Services, Branding & Design, Online and Social Media Marketing Management.

What makes us stand out and fills us with pride is our strong dedication to assisting our clients in achieving their business goals and making positive changes in their lives. I genuinely believe that when our clients succeed, we succeed too, as their achievements are closely linked to ours. Because of this, we are fully committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure they find satisfaction in their business journey and move even closer to their goals of success.

Certainly, it hasn’t been and still isn’t a smooth ride. as Theodore Roosevelt once said: “Nothing worth having comes easy!” and that’s what motivates me to keep going and have faith in my work. The tough parts of this business and industry are actually what I find most interesting because I believe challenges teach us the most. How I tackle these challenges is by setting even bigger goals and having confidence that these hurdles and minor setbacks are just more steps toward success. We learn from them and keep making progress.

I want everyone to realize that each of us has something special we’re good at or passionate about. And guess what? We can turn that into a business, have fun, and earn money doing what we love or are really skilled at. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends come to LA, I make sure we spend time in nature by exploring different hiking trails, especially the ones near the Hollywood Sign. And of course, we enjoy spending lots of time at the beach, from places like Malibu and Venice to Santa Monica, Redondo, and Manhattan Beach.

Talking about food, LA has fantastic restaurants with all kinds of cuisines. Our favorites include Lebanese, Italian, Mexican, and definitely Korean BBQ.

During the evenings, we like going to house music parties where we can meet awesome people with good vibes. We also enjoy concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and outdoor shows in downtown LA. These are great ways to hang out with friends and have a blast.

Oh, and I always suggest checking out Universal Studios if they have the time and energy. It’s an amazing experience you won’t forget!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I believe that behind every successful person or business is at least one person who kept motivating and supporting their goals and dreams. That support is so imperative especially as one continues to grow their business.

I was personally very blessed and fortunate to get various types of support from different individuals. However, the most significant support I have received over the past couple of years was from Marlene Chaker, Founder and CEO at AAA Appraisal Management Company, LLC.

Marlene didn’t just believe in me. She invested in me and kept pushing me forward no matter what obstacles I faced. She encouraged me to stay focused and was a mentor to me along the way. Her assistance was key in helping me to remain consistent in my endeavors to reach my business goals. She is the reason many of my career dreams came to fruition. For that, I’m very grateful to her and blessed to have her in my life.
